You can plug one or two of these into one of those portable batteries used to charge cell phones, and the lights will last for hours and hours, even on a small battery. These are really handy to have during a power outage. Much better than using candles, and more light. Get several small USB batteries, and a pack of these, and put them in different places in your house to have light when the power is out.

This is a handy light for specific uses. The LEDs appears very bright, but the actual amount of light is limited. I draws only 0.3 watts, much less than the capacity of even old USB (5 watts), so it won't tax your power supply. The total light produced (I measured 10 lux at 1 meter) is only 10 lumens, which is in the night light range. Keep in mind the light is directional and only illuminates an area on the "up" side of the usb outlet. However, there are certainly some useful applications for it, and considering the very low cost, I wish I had more USB outlets around my house.

5 Stars because of the Price vs. quality, Low current draw, Brightness. Would like to see a choice of 6000K (Daylight) or 3000K for Warm White. For Night Light it would be better in the Warm White which would be better for sleeping as it would give enough light to see if you get up but not so harsh on your eyes . So I have use them with a cheap 1Amp USB charger which works great. But you may find out on some Power Banks that due to the low current draw for this light the Power Bank may shut off. after 30 - 60 seconds. You may need to draw 60 - 100 mA to keep the Power Bank on. You may need to play with your power bank to find out if you plan to use it to power up this light. But this light also runs cool because it only draw 40 mA.

Been a minute since i bought something so dumb and cool dumb heavily outweighs the cool and useful if you think about it for more than 5 seconds Uses ive found so far Behind the TV light because lmao game system in a funny spot allowing me to shine the light down the hallway 👍 Turn a moble battery into a flashlight seems like its always backwards but hey if you lose power and want a light that will stay on for days and is alright bright go for it Showing it to people so they can think your dumb to Im out of ideas good luck

these are bright, run cool and use barely any power. i bought some over a year ago and they are still on/working. they have been on dusk/dawn/7 days a week for more than a year! a pathway light retrofit project. the set i bought this time is for a similar project, to light little gnome houses.

Put it in my “Survival Tin” and it has come in handy one time. I had left my phone in the camp site and needed something to shine while out in a trail. It did the job and I do not regret buying this item.
