It works as expected.
Great little UPS I like that it shows a battery charge level on my computer its about the size you would expect for a ups and for those who dont know what size that is about like a fat shoe box that is heavy that is actually pretty good. It works. No issues, and easy setup.

Priced well for a mid-range UPS
Replacing old APC 750 VA unit on a computer that was randomly shutting down. Communicates well via the downloadable software. Have other CP units in place, too, they all seem to work well for me. Important to me is being able to replace the battery after a few years of use, this model works for that. Price is reasonable, too. Also, initial install helped ID a faulty wall plug - the unit would not turn on and initially thought it was defective, but moving it to another location showed that it wasn't the UPS, it was the wall socket.

Excellent UPS Works Flawlessly During Power Outages
My go to for UPS supplies. I have several of these units protecting my most important electronics. I have used these extensively during power outages and I can say with confidence that they will not only protect your electronics, but also keep them running for a brief time. These are not meant to power your whole system for an extended amount of time. This is only so you can safely power down your devices. Another great feature of this device is that when the internal battery reaches its end of life, replacing it is extremely easy. It’s as simple as buying the battery and installing it with only two screws. I would give this CyberPower UPS five stars. It is so easy to use and I like the LCD screen too. Lots of features like overcurrent, undercurrent and voltage etc. protection. Super great price on these too. Unless you’re using a huge amount of wattage, you probably don’t need one of the bigger units. These handle my entire Uplift Desk and Mac mini and tons of other audio equipment Designed flat to easily lay on the floor. It’s also designed so the outlets are spaced apart which makes large plugs easier to use. It is also made to easily replace the battery which is much more difficult on the larger UPS. Hope this review helps you in your choice.

Great Quality!
Great product for the price, it feels like its really high quality. The driver software is very well done and does an excellent job when you connect this unit to a windows PC. For people wondering how powerful the 850VA unit is: I have a new gaming pc (Intel 4770k 780GTX), 40" LCD and things like equalizer and powered usb devices connected to it, and under full load while playing games the battery is at 25% load, the load is 180 watts and the runtime around 20 minutes. The maximum load I have seen was 50% and average is 25%. Obviously, my new pc is very power efficient, so I could have gone with a 500/550VA unit to save 30 bucks. Cons: I don't like the ECO Slots, which are supposed to turn off when you power off your computer. They turn off on power loss and don't run on battery power, so you can't connect anything important there that you would like to be in eco mode, like the monitor or in my case my powered keyboard. Also, they only turn off when you power off your computer, which I think is very useless in many situation where you either don't have this device hooked up to a pc or you want to power save but not turn off your computer. All in all, the ECO mode is very useless to me and disappointing, thats why I give 4 stars.

Great backup for short power outages
Works well, getting more of these.

Protect yourself before disaster.
I had a previous cyberpower ups without a screen and for some reason the battery stopped working and a breaker flipped and my computer went out the second the power did which didn't make sense until I realized the batters couldn't hold a charge after 7 years. My pc started having problems after where it wouldn't take my old Ram overclock of 6400mhz now I can only go to 6000mhz without getting constant bsod. I upgraded to this for the screen and the outlet layout. I don't like the tower ups because the outlets are too close together while this one lays on the ground flat and has space for bigger power bricks. Can't recommend a ups enough if you have a computer or nas. Invest in protecting your electronics plus have battery backup just in case of blackouts. I can't run your computer for long but if you quickly turn everything off you can at least have enough juice for your phone to charge if it is an emergency. Think ahead and start protecting your electronics because so many people have all their pictures and information on their computers and one bad shut down or power outage can ruin your computer. Rolling energy outages may soon become more common.

Beware of "incompatible waveforms"
Adding my voice to the several others here for cautions about this unit. Apparently, if your PC has a graphics card or an 80 Plus certified PSU (which, frankly, all PCs should have these days), you want the Active PFC line of products instead. This unit uses simulated sine wave technology, compared to pure sine wave in the Active PFC line. How did I find this out? Well, let me tell you about *my* CyberPower experience. I've had the unit for about 4 months now. I've noticed that occasionally (maybe once a month or so), the unit will switch to battery power for about a second, then switch back - just long enough to reset the digital clock plugged in to one of the "surge protection only" ports. This usually happens overnight, while my PC is on, but idle (not "sleeping", but idle). The PC remained on, but the clock didn't. There was no beep at this switch, but I definitely heard the click of it switching sources. I decided to use the included software to "initiate a self-test to ensure unit is working properly." The second I clicked that button on the software, my UPS unit shut off WITHOUT the battery (fully charged) kicking in. Somewhat perturbed (and disturbed), I turned the unit back on, and then turned my PC back on. Or rather, I tried to turn my PC back on; no such luck. With some guidance from techy friends (and some computer repair experts), I've established that the dead component is NOT: hard drives, video card, RAM, or internal power supply (PSU). That pretty much leaves either the CPU or the motherboard. With this knowledge in hand, I initiated contact with CyberPower. The online form was easy enough to fill out, and I even got an email response in about an hour, asking for more information (9 questions, the first four were generic about the UPS usage, and the other five were about my PC) and some simple troubleshooting steps. Yeah. Like I can really troubleshoot anything when my PC won't turn on. Anyway, I responded with detailed information within 2 hours, then sat back and waited to see what they would say. And waited. And waited. I ended up calling their 24 hour support line, where I waited on hold for the expected 30+ minutes. I gave the technician my case number, hoping to get advice on exactly what info they needed/how they would cover my PC failure, and the gist of the conversation was "I'll let the person who opened the ticket know that you called to follow up 8 hours later." This morning, I was excited when I finally received another email from CyberPower (about 22-23 hours after I submitted my form on the website). It was very detailed about possible waveform incompatibility between the unit and my graphics card, and how I should look at the Active PFC product line, and contained zero acknowledgement that my PC doesn't turn on. Meanwhile, my computer is sitting in a 6-day-long repair queue at MicroCenter, just to get the official diagnosis of whether my CPU or motherboard is fried, and I have all my new PC parts already planned (because if the CPU/mobo needs replaced anyway, might as well take the opportunity to upgrade), but I have to wait a week (+$40) to get the diagnosis first, because CyberPower will *probably* require it for proper documentation for the warranty to take effect. I'll update this review with the conclusion... Once I have one.

I am sold on this brand
When I added another unit to my mesh router system, I realized I also needed a new UPS battery backup. I hate it when even a momentary power outage causes my network to shut down and reboot. Living in a rural area, those brief outages happen more often than you might expect. I already own four other CyberPower UPS units that have performed very well, so choosing this one was an easy decision. Another advantage is that all of my CyberPower units use the same replacement battery, allowing me to keep a few spares on hand that will work with any of them. This UPS is completely silent during normal operation and only makes noise if an alarm is triggered. It has 12 outlets, with six providing battery backup, which is more than enough for my needs. The outlet spacing is also well designed, making it easy to plug in several oversized power adapters without blocking neighboring outlets. Depending on the load, I typically get 15 minutes or more of runtime during a power outage. When it's only powering my router and mesh system, the backup time is considerably longer, giving me plenty of time to ride through the short outages that are common where I live. Overall, this UPS has been a reliable addition to my home network and provides the peace of mind that comes from knowing brief power interruptions won't take my internet offline. The included 3-year warranty is a nice bonus, making this an easy product for me to recommend.

Absolutely Fantastic
I live in an older building in Montreal, but I spend most of my time in Alberta & Asia. I was in Japan & China for a few months, and thanks to this device - my home server was able to stay online despite an array of power outages. Super worth it, build quality is fantastic as well.

Completamente recomendado.
