It's really sturdy and easy to install.
This is the first one. I've had it for 9 years, and it's still in great condition, looking brand - new without any quality issues. I'm sure I'm gonna buy another one.

Sturdy and excellent proportion
My front yard is fenced with vinyl 3 rail fencing and I bought this white arbor to put over one of the walk through gates. I love the look of vine covered arbors. When looking for the right one, it was important to me that it was sturdy to handle the winds and proportionate to the existing fence. I wanted it to look like it "belonged" if you know what I mean. I have to say, I am more than happy with this arbor. It is not a flimsy, low arbor and it goes perfectly with the fence. Assembly was not difficult, I only needed a cordless drill and a little time. It also comes with what is needed to install it in its location outside (minus the cement we used for extra security) I can't wait until the grapevine I planted grows over the top! Update, November 6, 2015 - I have continued to enjoy walking under and looking at this arbor very much! It has held up to the weather extremely well with no change in color or brittleness from sun exposure. It has also been an excellent support for the grapevine. The grapevine is planted on one side of the arbor and the long vines are easily "threaded" through the rails on the top of the arbor as they grow longer. I have also used small amounts of twine to train the branches to grow in the right direction. I prune as needed to get the look I want through the spring and summer and in the winter I remove the vines from the arbor and start over. I am still very happy with this beautiful arbor, it is one of my favorite things in the garden.

Looks great, but difficult to assemble
I choose this Arbor for its more unique design, knowing it would probably not be as beefy as other designs. It took a lot of work to put it together (2 persons with experience). We added additional screws to try to stabilize better. A bit wobbly. We used 2 x 4's up the legs and deep into the ground with concrete to install. It looks nice all decorated for the holidays in my frozen garden.

Classic look, easy to assemble
I love the look and substance of this arbor. The parts are solid and went together easily. The instructions were complete and easy to follow, with good illustrations and descriptions. I'm fairly handy and I worked deliberately, without rushing, and it took about 2 hours. I plan to raise it slightly higher, using pressure treated legs to allow it to arch over a window. We'll attach it to the outside wall using thin wire to keep it firmly stable. Pleased, for sure.

Very nice
Overall, this is a very nice arbor and a good value at the price I paid (the price went up about $13 after I purchased it). I was surprised at how substantial the plastic pieces were, unlike the thin plastic I've seen on some other arbors. What really surprised me was how easy it was to assemble. It took about 20 minutes to unbox everything, and inventory and inspect all of the parts. I neatly arranged everything on my patio floor before I began. There were a couple of aspects to the assembly that were a bit tricky, but all together, it took me 35 minutes to assemble the entire arbor. I used 2"x4" pressure treated ground contact lumber in 33" lengths to secure the legs into the ground (without concrete), using the extra screws that were in the box. I had to trim a 1/4" from about 9 inches of each of the four piece of lumber for a proper fit. The hardest part of installing the arbor was leveling and plumbing everything, partly because I was working on a slight incline. It took close to 2 hours to secure it into the ground, level and plumb it, pack the soil around the posts, and put the mulch back in place. Unfortunately, I'm a perfectionist. All of the screws have white heads to match the arbor. It turns out that they are stainless steel screws, which I found out after calling the manufacturer. I found New England Arbors' customer service to be prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. One criticism is that the plastic in the arch of the arbor has a different sheen than the rest of the arbor, and appears to be a slightly different color of white. The effect is subtle, and not really noticeable unless one really scrutinizes it.

Clean and elegant
Assembly instructions are clear and you could not make a mistake in my opinion. It's not metal or wood but still is sturdy, for the material it's made from. Light to carry once complete. Recommend two people to assemble and install but I did it myself being careful not to strain or stress anything. Took me an hour to build. Would buy again. If issues occur after this posting I will update.

Love the look / Excellent Customer Service
Helps to have two people for assembly. The picture is from the spring when we were installing the arbor and 2 trellises. Hoping to have our clematis growing over this by next year. We staked this 2 feet into the ground with wooden stakes, hasn't moved. You can see my other reviews for the matching Vienna Trellis and the Hamilton trellis from this company.

Poor value for cost
I purchased this item having read the positive reviews. I have to say i wish i purchased a wooden one now instead. Even after assembling it and putting all the screws in it. Its very flimsy and moves too much. I feel like im stuck with it now and will have purchase some extra woiden posts to secure it better. The anchor points they supply even when cemented the arbour moves. The supplier should supply more robust material and bolts. The whole product is just cheap plastic with screws that do not make it sturdy at all.

Beautiful Arbor
Got this arbor for our veggie garden as it fit perfectly with my vision. When it came we realized we had 4 left caps for the connection to the post and the top part of the arbor. I reached out to the OEM that evening explaining that we needed 2 right caps when we had 4 left. The next day I got a response and apology and they said the replacement caps would be in the mail in 3-5 days. Sure enough we got the caps at no extra charge!

Happy With It
The arbor took me under an hour to put together. Went together very easily. I didn't use the 4 ground anchors that came with it. I cut 4 pieces of 2x4 pressure treated lumber 19" long instead. To make the 2x4s fit, I had to trim a 1/4 from one side on each of them. I then dug 4 10" holes, 12 inches deep and the set the arbor in them making it level. I then filled the holes with cement. It took 1 and 1/4, 30 kg bags. This made the arbor very sturdy. I'm very happy with the out come. I advise using the wood anchors as I have done.
