We smoothed it on with water let it sit for a minute then used a scratchy sponge to clean VERY HARD WATER STAINS. It worked great! We were amazed. Our water strains were years old. Now the glass looks like new. Just follow the directions I suspect.

Good for the spots on the outside of the patio glass door?

It should easily unless the spots are really old, then I would use it with a soft electric buffer. It works on most everything, I’ve use it on paint scrapes on my car and my glass cook top too. Good Luck!

Good for iron stains?

It has been several years since I used this product with an old shower door that had hard water and iron stains, but it worked like a charm for me--I was thrilled with the results and had tried many may other products. Plus it is (or at least was) non-toxic!
