The indicator lights are really nice and helpful to let me know how things are going. The profile is pretty small similar to many other 3-set surge protector outlet I’ve had. What sold it for me is the visual indicator light.

I read reviews that said the single Surge Protector takes up the switch plate... the 4 singles Surge Protectors I ordered allowed for another plug if placed at the bottom. I ordered a 3 plug Surge Protector from this Brand for an area that needed multiple access. All from the same brand, all well made, heavy quality and all work properly when directions are followed: Plug the item into the surge protector first and then plug the surge protector into the wall socket.

I live near the Tampa Electric Company, and for some reason they have issues with power bumps and surges, and of course during he summer we are the lightening capital of the US and this little protector keeps many of the things in my house safe. The washing machine, the garage door opener, my fridge (2nd one!), my freezer (2nd one), my wine fridge (2nd one) and many other items throughout my house. Great price for the safety and functionality. These are silent and are easy to plug into a grounded outlet. This product arrived in a surprisingly short period of time. It presents exactly as described in the product description. I presently have it protecting my newly installed garage door opener and it's working great! I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a single-plug-in surge protector. I especially like the indicator lights for both the current and the ground circuit. They are easily visible on my ceiling in the garage, where I presently have the surge protector located.

Came in as described. It seems to work well, not having been tested in a power surge yet. The only thing was that one of the three prongs was a bit loose. The ground pin was fine along with one of the two flat blades, but one was a bit loose in that it would slightly rock a bit back and forth. I was trying to remember if I'd seen this in the past with three pronged plugs similar to this style of plug, to see if it was normal. I think I had and that I wouldn't have had any problems with it. I was a bit concerned so I contacted Tripp-Lit technical support and was told that it was normal, and that some of their products are like that where a blade might be a bit loose. I asked if it was a screw or the plastic housing perhaps wasn't as tight around the blade, and he said it was the plastic housing. Anyhow, if this review helps anyone I am glad I'll help you to avoid having to call or search this up.
