Allen Alpha-Lite Folding Gun Rest

I really like this thing! I really thought it was gonna be a flimsy piece of paper but it has cloth like material lining the outside (almost like denim), not sure what material is the hard structure but it is very firm for the size. It is little and neat. Should fit in with your range gear with no issues. Velcro is very strong and the ammo holder area is sweet! Added my medium sized hand just to give an idea of the size of the item.

Well, I have numerous gun rest and this is the one I thought would be the most perfect but it’s not. It’s light compact and seems sturdy enough. I used this on my AR15 rifle at an indoor range. I have a quad rail and angle fore grip and this was too large for the opening on the rest. I could get the barrel in there but I didn’t want to use it. I knew then this would be a problem. It could deal with the vibration and concussion but would not sit properly. Oh wells, back to the foam rest which is light and can handle the different widths of various guns.

This folding shooting rest is fairly heavy duty. Can be used in a bench or in a range lane. Especially helpful to shoot while standing if you have younger, shorter or less abled people with you.

Simple and stable gun rest. Hardly takes up any room in my range bag, and barely adds any weight. Huge plus in my book. Get the large, as another reviewer has mentioned.

It looks just like I thought it would. Nice and stable. Can't wait to take it to the range. Might replace my sandbag that I currently use.

Very light and sturdy. I use it with my AR when I have 30 round magazine and shooting from bench. Surprisingly sturdy.

Very nice, wish I had bought the larger one though.
