Cold Therapy System for Ears (Black)

I am not sure why, but occasionally, my ears get very hot. I have tried all kinds of home-made contraptions to cool them down, but nothing really worked very well... until now. This thing is awesome. It's perfectly designed for cooling one's ears and it's super comfortable to wear and even nap in. Excellent design, good value and highly recommended!

My son has been suffering from Red Ear Syndrome (RES) which unfortunately causes very hot ears and medically there is not much known about the cause and cure. For now the best we can do is relieve it with ice packs. That's where this product has been the answer to our prayers. It is comfortable, looks great, great quality and it keeps my son's ears cool. The only thing my son complains about is that the cool doesn't last longer but that is only because his symptoms unfortunately go on for too long. The solution? I ordered extra cold packs from earcovery website to have available when needed. If my pre teen son likes it and is thankful for this product, I'm a thankful dad! Even though this product wasn't made for our situation it definitely has been what we've been looking for while the real cure comes.

Works great, but the headband is not adjustable. If you have a large head or a bulky hairstyle this may not work for you. Also wish for the ice pack itself to last longer.

This is a fantastic item. I have red ear syndrome and rosacea, and these have come in so handy in keeping me comfortable in times when my conditions flare up. The inserts don't last a horribly long amount of time, but they do last long enough to provide decent comfort. They get very cold but are still malleable enough to conform to your face and ears if you need to adjust them. The band isn't overly tight on the forehead either. I do love this item, and I may buy a second one so I have an extra one handy. Highly recommended if you have a need for some comfort during a flare-up like I have.

The wife complained about her hot ears every night at bed time. She no longer does. Works very well. The one thing I'll say is that it's overpriced. It's a band of fabric with ear pockets and two round icepacks. No reason for the price tag other than there aren't really competitors for it. For the price, it should at least ship with two sets of icepacks so you can rotate them each night, but it does not. Great product, but I have to give it 3 stars because of the price and because of the single set of icepacks.

I suffer DAILY from RED EAR Syndrome. If you do too, you understand how wretched and uncomfortable it is. Not only do I have daily occurrences where I need ice but I have to sleep with ice as well. This wrap is a great concept. However, the ice packs are not long lasting. My ears actually heat them up like a microwave! The company encourages you to purchase extra ice packs which I did. But considering how quickly they melt, it’s inconvenient and defeats the purpose of the hat. I’m back to using a wrap band and a medical ice pack which lasts much longer.

My 8 yr old used it after his tonsillectomy surgery and it was so helpful for his ear pain. The size fit great, quality of the headband was good, a little pricey and wish the cooling pads stayed cooler longer. But it helped so much instead of me having to hold them for him.

Like many who purchased this product, I suffer from the dreaded Red Ear Syndrome – a condition without a known cause or cure. Many nights I have suffered with a hot, uncomfortable and borderline painful left ear. For years, I simply waited out the episode in annoyance and sometimes agony. If my episode ever got bad enough, I have resorted to awkwardly holding coldpacks to my ear, or a few times when those were not available, rubbing ice cubes around my ears. I was convinced I was condemned to either attempting to tolerate the condition or ineffectively managing episodes for the rest of my life. When my wife showed me the Amazon page for this product for the first time, I almost couldn't believe it. As if it is impossible to imagine someone having enough chutzpah to found a company, produce a product and market it. Lo and behold, when this product arrived and I used it for the first time, my overall quality of life increased 10% permanently. No more nights struggling to fall asleep because of my hot ear. No more evenings of a distractedly hot ear, keeping me from enjoying whatever I'm doing. Sure, I may look like a scrawny, cyclist-shaped wrestler when I wear it, but only my wife and cats will see me, and so far there have been no audible judgements. 10/10

It has good size gel pockets and this makes it the only suitable headband for treating Meniere's disease. But some of the stitching let go in week 1 and by weeks 4, the logo was falling off.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to try it out properly as the item arrived damaged. The package was cut by a knife on the outside and cut through to the product. The envelope was taped up and sent anyway
