Portable Grill at Home

Love it, but ceramic powders off. There were no instructions in English. We wonder if there were instructions to season, or something we were supposed to do to prepare the grill.

After seeing this on the Netflix Show, Midnight Diner I purchased this. It cannot work on a regular stove top, as the mess to clean up after is a nightmare...too much grease and crumbs. Not sure it this is better suited to Japanese stoves...which have a special grilling section of the stove??

I attached the instructions you will get with the Google Translate App. This is just like the one my mom used on our gas stove when I was a child. I look forward to cooking rice cakes, rice balls, fish, etc on it.

This thing is exactly what it says on the label: it's a Japanese style stovetop grill. You saw YouTube videos with someone making grilled onigiri or chashu on some weird Japanese hand-held grill that you don't see in stores in the U.S.? Well, this is exactly that. Doesn't even have a word of English on the packaging. If this is the sort of thing that you're looking for, then this is probably exactly what you want.

i loved this grill. it was actually quite large. however my girlfriend put bread on the lower ceramic area while i was at the gym and burnt the whole thing to a crisp. so don’t do that. also it takes a long time to arrive because it comes from japan

Terrible does not work with ease. hard to manage. do not like using at all
