Spey is wrapped.
This trapper came very sharp, arm hair shaving sharp, which is nice. It also has beautiful scales. However, the overall finish is a bit "meh" or so-so in quality. It has open gaps here and there, but nothing major. Like all Rite Edge 3.75-inch (9.53-centimeter) trappers, the spey blade is usually wrapped, and mine is no exception. The wrapping on mine is not as bad as other trapper knives I have gotten from Rite Edge, so thank goodness for that!

I use these as gift items to construction crews i work with. A solid knife, sharp, looks good and has alot of utility. Also won't break your heart, or the bank, if something happens to it.

This knife is solid and very sharp. I have bought several as gifts. Way better quality than the bargain price would suggest. Tight strong at pivots. VERY VERY sharp. Have carried one regularly for over a year. Very pleased.
