GARDENA Two-Way Hose Splitter, Flow Control, Quick Connect - 38193

I have used this for over two years now and it functions perfectly albeit I remove it in winter because of freezing . I have one side hooked up to a Gardena wall-mount hose, which is an excellent product in itself and the other side I use with an electric power washer for washing cars. The two thumb turns work really well and are super convenient. It can be a little tricky to install on the faucet but this may not apply to you. It has never leaked despite being taken off and reinstalled a few times. I definitely recommend this splitter although it is quite pricey now. I believe Gardena makes some great quality products -

I purchased these (2) in conjunction with purchasing the Eve Aqua smart irrigation valve. The Gardena Dual Hose Valves were shown in product marketing for the Eve Aqua, and are one of the few dual hose controls that work with a boxy smart valve like the Aqua. They work as expected, and actually exceed my expectation in their ability to control the water flow. I like the fact that the water control is large for easy use. Because it is mostly plastic, I do have some slight reservations about their durability over time given sun exposure, but I highly recommend this for those wanting an elegant and easy-to-use solution.

This shing is built pretty well, I was concerned about the plastic housing, but it seem solid after two seasons. It makes garden and hose management a lot easier and is the right size for my use. The price was pretty reasonable too!

Another well designed Gardena product. With the easy attachment system, these things are great. I attach a Gardena computer water controller to one side which leads to a soaker hose for watering foundation plantings. The other side I attach to a regular garden hose that I use to wash the car, etc, and turn off the valve when not in use. With the water computer, I can either program it for automatic watering, or I can simply walk by, push the "manual" button and it will water for the time duration set. Very convenient.

Very good product. Nothing to complain about. Oh, the price. Turning knob is bigger so no pain to turn water on and off. Best water splitter since several decades of gardening. Made in Canada. Even with the high price, it looks well worth it. I am ordering one more for my front garden. Why we, in USA, don't make this kind of good stuff?

I have started using the gardena quick connectors and when I found this item I decided to also give it a try. The quick connectors have made my life (in relation to lawn work) much more easy. And this dual hose valve has made it even easier. First off compared to the splitters that I have used before, this one gives plenty of room between the connections. The other thing is that when you attach it to the main water faucet, after you tighten it, the body moves freely. The only bit of negative feedback that I have is that when the product came I had to tighten the quick connectors that are on the splitter, because I found them to leak a little bit. After I tightened them (just a hand tighten) the leaks went away. I literally do not know why I did not use Gardena for my lawn work in the past. I just purchased another one for the front side of the house.

All our connectors are from Gardena and we like their system. We bought two of these items, they were easy to install and work great. Unfortunately, one started to drip after a couple of days in the area were the connector meets the housing. As they are covered by a multi-year warranty based on the package information we contacted Gardena USA. They were quick to respond and provided us with a voucher to be used on their webpage. 5 stars until here. However, this article is not available on Gardena's US webpage, so we could not get a like for like replace and ended up needing to buy a brand new one at full price.

The Dual works great. I have the Raindrip R675CT Analog 3-Dial Water Timer attached to the spicket, the Dual attached to the Timer, then my two hoses with the Gardena quick-release systems on both valve outlets. There are no leaks and the system makes it easy and quick to switch between the oscillating sprinkler and the small area sprinkler. Also possessing two of the Gardena 1951 Small Area Garden Spray Sprinklers On Spike, along with their GARDENA ZoomMaxx Oscillating Sprinkler on Weighted Sled Base, makes for a neat and very efficient watering system without the cost of an in ground sprinkler system. I am very pleased with all of these individual purchases and my new lawn is getting compliments almost daily. I hope this helps. Enjoy, Robert

First one we have bought of this type of product, so went with a well known brand name and it was worth it. We have had it for a while now and it does what its meant to very well.

2 years in and going strong. Easy to operate for arthritic fingers.

If you want to fit a Gardena water control to this, then contrary to the claims of the website, it will not fit. The screw fittings of the supplied male hose connectors are an irregular size, so if you take them off then nothing will fit it. If you are happy to use them with the supplied hose connectors, then you will be fine.

Lättmanövrerad och mjuk användning. Kvalitén verkar vara hög. Inget läckage.
