Great activities for a boy interested in science

Amazing kit! I’m planning on homeschooling my daughter and she’s 4 1/2 right now and I was looking for something fun that she could also learn from! Besides all the experiments that come with it, you get a book of bonus experiments to do at home!

Great price and fast shipping

My children totally enjoyed it. But, NOTE: 1. Instruction says to wait for 1 minute until plaster sets a little. DON'T, normal plaster sets faster. The time you need to wait (if at all) depends on the speed you mix it. My advice: don't wait at all. Once it's all mixed and is not too liquid (probably immediately), load it into the mould. It may ooze from the seams a little, but it's fine. 2. If you want to do the archeological dig, push some tiny dinosaur toys into the mould immediately after you pour the plaster in. The toys must be sturdy enough to survive the breaking of the plaster. Have them ready before you begin mixing, you won't have the time during the process. 3. The volcano paint is not waterproof. You may want to paint it AFTER you do the experiment, or paint it again. There's an abundance of paint in the kit. 4. The volcano powder is colored and will color anything “lava” pours on. Do the experiment in a big bowl.
