The refills worked.
I was pleasantly surprised because the refills fitted the pen and worked really well. I had tried to find that size refill at other stores but couldn’t find the right size to fit the pen I had.

Smaller than original
The cartridge on the top in the first photo and on the left in the second one is the original cartridge. These refills are skinnier and the top is slightly smaller, too. They fit well and write very well regardless. I would imagine it won't last as long as the original, but then I have FIVE in the package so I think they'll be able to keep my pen flowing long enough.

Long lasting refills
I have 2 pens that require these pen refills. I love them both (one is wood with silver trim,; the other has gold trim). They're my favorite pens. You can either out on a coffee table where guests can see them and they look very nice.

Better than Expected!
These ballpoint refills are fantastic. Typically, ballpoint ink doesn't write as well as gel ink, and ballpoint pens don't write as smoothly as rollerballs. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these refills work. There's no drag like you usually get with ballpoints. The ink has the viscosity of a ball point, but it writes with the smoothness of a rollerball. I'll definitely purchase again.

These fit the Cross pens well. But don't write well.
When I first installed one of these, it fit well and wrote well when I tested it. Then when I tried to fill out a form, the ink ball kept sticking and not writing. That makes the refill useless.

It fits!!
I have two pens that take refills. They are narrow but easy to use for the varied correspondence I complete on a weekly basis. But since I acquired the pens and not purchase, I had no idea of the refills by type or size. These seemed to be appropriate so I purchase them at a fair price, received five in the box and they fit!! I am back in business.
