Highly recommend! This has been a great addition to our backyard. I was drawn to this because I wanted one with an attached lid. I saw this one and thought it was way too cheap for what it was advertising I'd get. Nope, it's exactly as advertised. For size reference, my 3 year old has a ton of space. His 9 and 12 year old siblings can squeeze in there with him too, but not functionally lol. I've only had two issues. Neither of which makes me dislike the sandbox. The only one that actually annoys me is how difficult it is to get the canopy back up with one person. You must pull one side, tighten it, walk around, and repeat until you inch it up to the top. The only other issue we've had is the bench coming detached from the sandbox. They pulled right out of it, no stripping/tear, etc. The screws that secure the hinges just don't work as intended, but super easy fix.

This is a great product. It was easy to put together, there is a section where you will need two people. It holds sand well and it keeps water out fairly well. I usually put the top back down before it rains to help keep the sand dry. Moving the top up or down can kind of be a hassle but it works. My daughter loves how much room she has in there and that she can sit on the little benches. Overall this product is worth the buy.

Once built, I love this sandbox! Very sturdy and has good shade coverage. The instructions were pretty clear as well. With that being said, there were some issues. One of the pieces (the part holding up the canopy) had been assembled upside down by the factory. I had to unscrew it and screw it into the other end so the rest of it would fit. One piece came split but it was a part that wasn’t major. The main issue was once I got to the canopy. They have small dimples of where the screws go in and I had followed them the whole time with no issue. Once I got to the top of the canopy, one of the cross bars had dimples that ended up running into each other. They were placed on a 90 degree angle so they needed to be spaced out as to not run into each other….spoiler alert they ran into each other. I had to drill my own hole and it kind of ruined the layout but with the canopy attached you can’t tell! With all of that being said, I still love the product and my kids are having a blast with it. The instructions say it takes 45 minutes to set up with two people. I had myself and my two year old, but I would be shocked if I got it done in 45 minutes with another adult! Once assembled it is great though!!

I was very weary of buying a sandbox online but I’m so glad I took the chance with this one. It was easy to set up, just make sure like with any wood, don’t over tighten and you shouldn’t have any issues, plus I appreciated the instructions that were more than adequate to put together correctly, just make sure when you are lifting and lowering the top that both sides are even, then you just twist the knobs on either side. Easy peasy! I can get it set up for play in seconds by myself and then kick my feet up, plus bench seats are easy to fold out and I can sit comfortably while my 2 year old plays with ample room. Let’s talk durability..honestly I’m very impressed with the quality, It’s a nice strong wood (no splits or cracking and sanded down nicely to avoid splinters), it held up all winter in the IL snow with nothing over it except the cover that it comes with and it held up great! The cover is removable and attached with strong Velcro so if you ever need to give it a rinse with the hose it’s a snap without getting the sand wet. For reference we used four 5-pound bags of play-sand to fill and it worked out perfect. Overall, it’s a nice, durable sandbox that you will be able to enjoy for years to come..plus you don’t have to sit in the sand to play with your kids..you can be comfy too!

It’s a great idea for a sandbox but the quality is poor and boards break super easy. Canopy is a nightmare to move up and down

Please don’t waste your money on this very cheap product. I bought this in April for my granddaughter, but it took me month and 1/2 to put. When we start to assemble the woods are very cheap when you put the screws it cracked you get two pieces through of the woods got broken top. It’s small and not covering all the way so I was trying to contact Of course he didn’t responds back none of my messages and an Amazon messaged either and Amazon give me $30 refund for it because we have to buy some wood from Home Depot to finish this sand box remember the seller just selling damaged cheap product and he’s not answering any of the messages to do replacement or resolve the problem

I do not usually write reviews of products but was compelled to for this sandbox. I bought this for my grandchildren. The quality is excellent. It arrived in perfect condition. The instructions are very easy to follow. It can be assembled in an hour or less. I was impressed by the pre-drilled holes that lined up exactly as they should. There was no wood splitting during assembly. If you are looking for a good size, easy to build, good quality sand box, look no further. Put this in your cart and enjoy watching your grandchildren or children enjoy this sand box.

Super bien fait, se qui aurais ete mieux de plus grande vise puisque sa pogne presque pas dans l’autre morceau! Nous en avions a la maison donc nous en avons mis de plus grande!

Très joli et facile à monter

My kiddos (5 and 1) love playing in this sandbox. However we just bought it this summer and the canopy already has two tears. When I went to take it off to store for winter it just shredded in multiple places. Not sure if there is a replacement canopy for next year. This was a key feature for us as it helped protect my kids from the sun on hot days yet still allowed them to play outdoors.

like so many other people have wrote in their review just assume the top canopy will not exist.. few different reasons if you even walk by this and it catches on a sweater you will probably break it off. it is designed to go over top of the box to stop water from going in it so you can have some dry sand to play in so you do have to move it up and down every time you use it.. the problem with that is the canopy is actually less wide than the side sticks are so when you loosen it it's still is kind of tight because it pulls the sticks in towards the center so moving it up and down requires a lot of finesse or two people so that you can go up and down at the same time. it just wedges itself. all the wood is the cheapest softest wood you've ever used.. I never knew such soft wood even existed. I could literally put any piece of wood from this kit over my leg and push down and it would snap in half with no effort at all. putting the screws in feels like you are going to crack everything that you screw into it is so dry and brittle. do not over tighten the screws or you will crack something or strip it with no effort at all.. like I mean no effort at all this wood is so soft that when you go to tighten a screw and you over tighten it just a little bit the wood will just strip.. the screws that you're given are very thin they're not outdoor stainless steel they are indoor gold coated screws that will rust. I cracked the wood in five different places while assembling mine.. yeah you did the durable fabric that they say is on the bottom of it is the thinnest felt paper that just standing on it while installing it I ripped it. lots of spots while working with it caught on my sweater and flick the edge up and cause it to crack. I'm just severely disappointed I get it's only $169 that I paid for it but I would expect more for this. I will be returning mine as this quality is horrible I could make something for a 1/3 the price and 10x as strong! also the canopy when you think about it is absolutely useless other than to be used as a cover for the sandbox. unless it is high noon and the sun is directly above you will that canopy work as soon as the sun goes to the left or to the right of that canopy the sun will literally just come straight in on your face. great it can tilt to the left or to the right but that will not block the Sun from coming in so you can lower the canopy but then that would cut off half the sandbox. so yes it's possible to turn it to the side and push it all the way down and you can play in one half of the sandbox but again it's just useless just imagine it's not there it's not going to do anything for you other than block the rain from the sandbox.
