The use by date on the box i got today (march 2023) is 23/9/22. isn't that the date format used in scotland (day/month/year) and so is expired?

If the box uses British nutrition labels, I'd imagine that you're right, that's 23rd September 2022. I'd ask the seller for a refund for selling you expired food!!!
