Aerocool Cylon 700W 80 Plus Certified Semi-modular Power Supply Unit

I've used Aerocool power supplies in a number of pc builds. The build quality is good for the price.Fan is quiet.Used this power supply in a build with a GTX 770 which is a power hungry beast (2 x 8 pin connectors required) and it runs it fine with no problem at all.As to reliability ive never had any problems with Aerocool power supplies.I have bought Corsair power supplies before that have been dead on arrival so it just goes to show even the big names can be faulty.

Working fine on a demanding gaming pc, so far so good.The psu is quiet and solid

Good value PSU, Semi-modular but still very easy to use- a star as the first I received didnt work but it was easy to return and get a replacement through the site

this is a great piece of kit, very quiet, awesome quality, dont think its a ripp off from cooler master, this is a great priced product and top quality too, i have other aero cool products, an they just as great, they come from a very good computer manufacturer

Good points:- Price- Eay to install- Fully black, flat cablesBad points:- slight high pitched noise when powered on- fan noise is annoying. There is a chirping sound even at the low fan speed. The spec mentioned a 'silent fan' but it certainly is not.Due to the noise issues, I ended up returning and going with an alternative power supply (Cooler Master). Although the replacement was slightly more expensive, it is definitely worth it as the noise difference between the two is considerable.

Used as a replacement for a suspected faulty PSU in a tower PC. I found the flat black cables supplied not quite so easy to install as I expected since they don't twist much. If you are new to installing PSUs (like me) then one thing to watch out for is that some connectors can be 4-way or 6-way. You join the 4 way with a 2-way (supplied) to make up the 6-way if required.The PSU runs silently and cool in my tower.

worked great for 5 minutes of using then started making really loud noises and smelled awfull then cut out and stopped working

My old power supply had been getting louder and louder over the past few months, so I decided it was time for a replacement. This replacement is fantastic! The flat design for the internal cables makes it a dream to install and the excess wires fold out of the way.I can barely hear that my pc is on!!!
