Delivery takes more than a month
Great product. So glad they delivered in South Africa. Could not buy it any where else. Delivery took a long time though, but I'm very happy.

I finally got to make something and loved it. You need to play and figure it out. Itโs not just cut and dry. But works excellent

Better and Best cutting
Works really well. We used Cricut 7 years ago, and the cut & print was always off no matter how many time we calibration. We bought Silhouette this year and itโs AMAZING!!! It cuts really well and the software it uses is easy to follow. The only thing you have to be aware of is the printed guide (the corner mark on the corner to tell machine where your design is on). In the beginning, we thought the machine is not working because it didnโt start the cutting after it scan the mat. But, either eyeballing if the detector is going over the corner mark OR check if the design is getting too close to the mark will solve the problem!! Itโs the best purchase this year:)

Love this Cameo 5a!!
Love it!!! Replaced my Cameo 2 workhorse that finally gave out. Love this 5a. Iโve used Silhouette Cameos for 14 years and love them. Can't wait to try the new features on this one.

Disappointed
Not happy with the new software of silhouette. I originally had the 1st cameo. Loved the ease of use. Now it is so much harder. The software won't even download to my new laptop and the Go version is terrible on my iPad. I have basically wasted almost $300 and can't get it to do simple things like before and they want to pay for upgrades, on things that were standard. I had it a million both before I had time to open and can't even send back.

Missing components
Buyer beware the code they send you for the business upgrade doesn't work. It doesn't come with a USB cable. The vinyl isn't marked so you have to figure out if it's htv or permanent vinyl. I'm very disappointed wish I stayed with the maker 4 instead of switching to the cameo 5 alpha.

Super easy yes the soft wear is intimidating but once you get to know it it works so amazing way better then my cricut ever did !
