how does this compare to the kershaw chive? which is heavier? which feels better in hand? i got many chives, so high expectations to beat.

The valve is quite a bigger and wider and made in China.

Kershaw's measurements and descriptions are a lot like their customer support...very much LACKING. This is not a small knife. If you carry in the pocket, you will soon 'rack' yourself. It is 8 inches long when extended, 3 1/2 inches of blade measured where it enters the body, its weight will be noticeable. All that said, when I required communication with Kershaw about the screws backing out of this knife, they refused to respond. I only requested the size/description and maybe where I could find them....not a word. That wasn't the only Kershaw that I've bought but I will never buy another. Lack of responsible customer support turns me off. There are plenty of other brand to choose from.
