DERMA E Scalp Relief Conditioner, 10 Fl Oz Scalp Relief Treatment

Update: I've been using this product for almost 6 weeks and I am so blessed to be able to have this product! The crusts on my scalp and flakes have continued to reduce and are barely there at all! This has given me a way to treat my dandruff daily with a moisturizing curl-safe product while also cutting down on shampoo. So pleased! Also the method of storing upside down and removing the cap to dispense has been so easy and works just fine. Original review: I have a severe form of dandruff called seborrheic dermatitis. Due to having very dry, curly hair I quit shampooing my hair regularly and use this conditioner instead. It's helping my seborrheic dermatitis a lot, it took a while but after two and a half weeks my flakes are hugely reduced and the crust on my scalp is almost totally gone. The bottle is slightly squeezable however the product is so thick it's hard to squeeze out as others have said. I store it upside down which is easy to do due to the shape of the bottle, and when I use it I simply unscrew the cap and squeeze some into my hand. It's very easy to do this way and I don't have to cut the bottle open or anything, which I was afraid I'd have to do. It's hard to find dandruff conditioners, especially ones that comply with Curly Girl Method like this one does, so I'm very grateful for it and have always thought derma e makes great products. Just glad it's way easier to use than I anticipated from the reviews.

First product to effectively address my husband’s scalp itch. And his hair is happy, too

Loved what it did for my hair and didn't irritate my dandruff or scalp, but the smell and and the bottle were not great. I love it and hate it in equal measure, but the flaws are cosmetic; the actual conditioner is awesome, made my curls pop and kept my frizz down, only product I needed. So good I can almost overlook the rest of it. Will look for something better... Will still probably come back to this yet again. The bottle is too hard to squeeze anything out without near maximum effort and you will struggle to get anything out without mixing it with water once you get down to the last 3rd, the click cap comes off the bottle if it drops, and the tea tree smell is... something, almost chemical the way it mixes with everything else even if the product is mostly natural, nourishing, and antistatic. I didn't even try to put essential oils in it to mask the scent because I didn't want to risk making it linger in my hair after the shower, where it mostly dissipates and you can just spray something over it.

Product seemed good, smelled great, and hopefully helps my mothers scalp. However the bottle is really difficult. The plastic is way to hard to squeeze, so you end up having to take off the cap and bang into hand and still it is to hard to squeeze, really made it difficult to use.

Derma-e shampoo and conditioner feel lovely on the scalp. Too soon to tell how long lasting the relief will be. If I could give zero stars for the bottles I would. Obviously meant to be squeeze bottles, the plastic is way too rigid to allow this. For the shampoo, unscrew the top. And pour it out. For the conditioner, unscrew the top and wait and wait for it to flow. Worth the wait but WHY?

Usually Love this conditioner but lately this brand has 1) made the bottle IMPOSSIBLE to squeeze with 1 hand. I have to use both hands EVERY time to squeeze some out. It’s extremely annoying. FIX. YOUR. BOTTLE. 2) the cap came off in the box and the conditioner spilled everywhere. Please fix your freaking cap!! Good lord. The cap is so fragile and breaks all the time and the little aluminum-plastic over the hole that “seals” the bottle, always is a b*tch to get off. Make sure to have some tweezers on hand. Also, I think they might have changed the formula? This used to give my scalp a tingly feeling and the tea tree oil smell was more pronounced, but now, not so much. Just sucks because this brand of conditioner is the only thing that helps my dandruff. Guess I have to look elsewhere now.

Months of horrible products in a severe flare and this is amazing!!! The cooling tingle, calming feeling, I can breathe. I hope it lasts. The only thing I don’t understand is I couldn’t get it out of the bottle, I’m gonna have to figure out a different way because you can’t squeeze the bottle to get anything out.

1 year update: I'm still using this conditioner, now with the matching shampoo. Still no itch, no flakes and after going 1 year without a haircut, the stylist commented on how healthy my hair was (he had a year before too when I had just recently switched to this conditioner). This is the longest I've ever stuck with a hair product I love it that much. This conditioner has changed my hair. I have really fine (like silk) hair but have suffered from dandruff and itching for years. I'm not going to say my hair was unhealthy, but it's so much healthier now. I was so reluctant to buy this because it is kind of expensive, but it was a great decision. I don't think I can go back to what I used to use.

Il est vraiment bon son effet de froid fait vraiment du bien et hydrate vraiment.

Good stuff. After t gel stopped selling their product this is even better. Try it!
