We live in WY and it is currently below freezing; will these crickets survive transport?

I live in northern New Mexico it wasn't below freezing yet when I got my package but I only had for dead and they throw extras in but they should be fine as long as you keep track of your order pick it up the same day of delivery

What kind of container do these come in?

Clear plastic container with holes on top. There is also the egg crate inside.

Do you get a good male to female mix because i have a large reptile colony and i would like to breed them

I can't answer that definitely, but from observation I say yes. We were getting more crickets than we needed for a while, and tiny pinheads started showing up in our well maintained cricket habitat, and we weren't even trying to breed them. Hope that helps.
