Spiderwire Wolf Tackle Bag, 38.8-Liter, Black

I have been fishing since I was 5 years old and I'm over 70 now. I have been through several tackle boxes and tackle systems. I ordered this tackle bag and it is by far the best tackle bag I have ever owned, not to mention a lifetime unconditional warranty. It has plenty of pockets for storage and the main compartment has four storage containers for crank baits, scum frogs, hooks whatever I need to take. If fishing for a specific species of fish I exchange out the storage containers with the appropriate tackle for what I'm going after, Muskie, Northern, Lake trout, Bass, Crappie or whatever. In the pockets there is room for the things I'll need no matter what I'm fishing for. This is a Tackle Bag that will be passed down to my son who is already trying to claim it for himself. He's getting one for his birthday. Hope this helps, everyone is telling me time to go, we fish every day is weather permits, sometimes even if it doesn't.

Yep. Pretty awesome. I should have upgraded my old plastic tacklebox years ago. This thing fit all of my gear, with plenty of room for expansion. It's bigger than something I'd just grab for a stroll down to the stock tank, but it's definitely something I can throw in the truck with the assurance that I'll have anything I need while I'm on the water. I like all the zipper pockets, the shoulder strap, and just the durable feel of the thing. If I took this to the beach every day and left it wet and sandy, I feel like it would hold up pretty well for a long time. The internal plastic boxes are decent. They're not quite as adjustable in terms of size of compartments as I'd like, and they don't close securely enough to keep small bits and pieces from floating around over the dividers. But that I can live with, or I'll find some different boxes to keep in there. But the tackle bag overall is a really nice piece of kit. I don't really care for the Spiderwire branding on it, but I can't say that's an important factor at all in my purchase decision. All in all, I'm happy to spent the money and opted for this big, soft-sided bag.

Quality for the price is better than expected; zippers, stitching, pockets, boxes & shoulder strap. Plenty of room and compartments for just about everything bass fishing. A big plus over other brands is the 2" reinforced molded hard rubber water resistant bottom. Also, it includes 4 full size utility boxes. Though I give them 5 stars for Value/Quality...the only thing I would change is the single top handle in the event you remove the shoulder strap. I would have doubled up the handle straps and wrapped them together with a sturdy rubber or neoprene handle. Time will tell when it comes to durability. Happy fishing!

If you're anything like me, you're debating how much sex you're gonna loose over how expensive this damn bag is. Oh she's gonna be mad when she looks at the bank account, don't worry. You just gotta refer her to this review and it'll help. ***READ EVERYTHING ALOUD*** This bag is awesome. Hand to god or whichever deity you believe in. It's that kind of bag that you're grandkids will tell funny stories about how "Pappy had that 'hidden compartment' in his trusty fishing bag where he kept his hidden stash from granny". This thing is built really freaking nice. It's literally going to be your "Forever Tacklebox" that you will instantly fall in love with. ***STOP READING ALOUD*** Show it to her and see her face... And if she isn't looking longingly into the distance with a tear in her eye reminiscing about 'the good old days' and how her *insert beloved relative* had a bag just like it.....she wasn't raised right, and will not now nor ever, so much as feign anything remotely close to an attempt at a sense of humor. You need to divorce/break up with her immediately cause this is going to be a bad argument about how you spent so much on "a stupid *explicitive* bag". I wish you all the luck, protect your eyes and throat, there's no shame in using the fetal position, and enjoy one of the longest dry spells you've ever experienced in your life. Great bag, for not a lot of $$$! Ordered this expecting it to be the same model I checked out at Dick's. Not only was this one larger, it was better constructed too! Lots of room for tackle and light gear, more than enough for multiple styles of fishing... Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is becaue it'll need at least a season r two before I can judge the durability, but after looking at what else is available at this price I'm not worried at all!

This bag literally has pockets in pockets in pockets. I’ve always been a “what-if” person. What if I lose 40lbs and can wear my high school football T-shirt again? I can’t throw it away. What if I have bad seafood on this 3 day trip? Better being 5 pair of underwear just in case. This bag holds(and comes with) 4 large modifiable trays. I have one for line work. Hooks, weights, swivels, slip bobbers, you know. Another tray for saltwater lures. A tray for freshwater lures. And a fourth tray for whatever you can think of. Reese’s pieces probably. They’re modifiable too. What if you get the urge to snap into a slim jim? Customize those compartments. The main pocket is formed to keep its rectangle shape, so it won’t collapse if you remove the trays. It’s enclosed by a heavy duty zipper, and has a front flap that secures with two beefy plastic buckles. Small pockets in front allow easy access storage for needlenose pliers or whatever snips you use. Waterproof rubberized pocket inside the zipped portion of the flap to hold things like your phone, fishing license, and that old pack of Marlboro reds you hide from your wife that Big Carl forgot in your truck in 2011. Little Carl doesn’t smoke. The only downside to this bag is if you actually manage to fill it, you’re going to be lugging around a 40lb bag. That, and hardcore old men that throw all of their stuff in buckets like savages tend to make fun of you a little. Whatever Clyde, at least I still have my teeth.

I’ve been using this for about 9 months now and I’m ready to review! I use this bag for bass gear and bring it with me on the boat as well as bank. It has a ton of room and has been excellent and super durable. My only complaint is that when all the front pockets are used, the back rolls forward. So I do get frustrated at times when I’m looking for a quick change or lures and the bag just wants to sit on its front. I end up taking all of the boxes out for easier access while fishing.

This bag is very big! Holds 4 of the included boxes just fine. I have 3 of the included boxes and two 3701 planos in it, and they JUST fit. If you needed to, I think it would be possible to fit 7 of the 3701 boxes, 6 for sure. Plenty of room to hold everything you need. My only critique is that the included plastic boxes are pretty flimsy and do not close shut all the way. Lures, jigs, and such will be fine in them but loose hooks or beads will move from slot to slot. But that is easily fixed by purchasing some better quality boxes for those types of items. Very nice bag and well worth the money! Everything is heavy-duty.

The bag was delivered faster than I expected, very nice and good quality bag although its made in China. Thumps up!

I decided it was time for some new storage for my ever growing fishing collection, this bag caught my eye as it looks great. The $100 price tag at the time scared me away from it, however I got a great deal with the Amazon warehouse feature and picked it up for $60. After getting it I would soon realize, paying full price would have been no issue to me at all. This bag is worth every penny and more. It includes 4 large storage containers, they're not top of the line, but they get it done. There is some clips for you to attach line to and spool your reels directly from the bag itself! The shoulder strap is nice and comfortable. Not to mention, the many storage compartments that I'm still to this day finding more of. It's a great bag. If you're hung up on the price tag, quit thinking about it and just buy it. Worth every dollar!!!

If you’re struggling with your Plano boxes, like I was, then do yourself a huge favor and get your Spider Wire tackle bag as soon as possible. I have mine full of my Plano boxes inside the very large main component, and with multiple lockable external pocket storage compartments, you can put your other fishing tools and baits in them, this is the only tackle bag, you should own. It’s very durable, with big snap lock pockets and a strong shoulder strap to free up your hands for your fishing rods. You won’t be sorry when it arrives at your home.
