I've been looking for an alternative to ADD drugs for a while but the amino acids I've tried, such as 5-htp, l-theanine, A LA, DHEA, and other blends I've tried helped with my depression and anxiety, but with the added element of daily physical pain, it's hard to keep focused and push myself to be productive. I was almost always mentally checked out. I was trying so hard not to fall apart emotionally that I just didn't deal with anything. L-tyrosine has helped me to turn things around. While not a miracle drug, it does help me to be focused, less anxious, and more productive. Definitely worth a shot if you've been stagnant due to anxiety, depression, physical illness, or ADD, and just want to get on with life. I take 2 in the morning with a b vitamin, followed by a 500 mg l-theanine at lunch time. ( it keeps me upbeat, and sociable) and I feel like a normal human being. Like myself. Solaray's l-theanine chewable works quickly but capsules are a better value.

I have used other brands that I think gave me more energy. I can’t really tell a difference with this one.

1- Always balance with 5-HTP, otherwise you end up in a serotonin depletion situation. More on this in a book called the Mood Cure by Julia Ross 2- Add a small amount of EGCG to avoid breakdown of the amino precursors (tyrosine and 5-HTP) into neurotransmitters outside the brain. Otherwise this can cause long term health issues if you plan on supplementing long term 3- experiment with dosing until you get it right. I tried 500mg and it caused me increased anxiety/fidgetiness. I bought some empty capsules, a small scale and spatula and now I make my own 250mg capsules. Does my office look like a scene from breaking bad? yes. Does my wife think I'm a drug dealer? yes, but hey it's worth it

After using more than 1year of this product , i notice the effect of this product ,i feel myself very active , mentally refresh and i realise that my memory power is much more better than before , due to too many research i found that Tyrosine has a very important role in the process of Increasing a DOPAMINE , EPINEPHRINE , AND NOREPINEPHRINE . its actually a precursor , and due to some reason of Studying ,i feel that i am wasting my 8 hr on only sleeping 😴 , so Now I reduce sleep to 4hr ,soo due to my incomplete sleep , my brain neuro transmitters are not working Normally , i was feeling so sleepy 😪 , tiredness , and uncomfortable , AND by Taking / Using this product ,I have totally forgotten My all Mental problems , And NOW I am using my 20 hr from a day I Have facing No problem by Sleeping Only a 4hr in a whole day . from this product i INCREASE my DOPAMINE Level.

I'm glad that this is an original package. It's really hard to find good tyrosine in India.
