Janome Purple Tip Sewing Machine Needles, Size 90/14, Great for Heavy Fabrics and Sewing Across the Hem - 5 Needles per Pack

My Janome 9410QC just loves this needle. I've found that it is a daily use needle for most of my projects. This is THE goto needle for being durable in quilts, jelly roll rugs to just piecing together projects. I bought this size for my rugs and found out it is a perfect size. It's easy to thread using your machine threader as it's not to thick. The eye of the needle is fine for self threading as well. Compatible on the following: Janome Memory Craft 9410QC, Janome Coverpro, Janome 4 needle embroidery, Janome 550ele, Bernina Record 730, Bernina 770 QE Plus, Brother Se2000, SINGER HD. Every one of my machines seem to play nice with this needle. They can get pricey but they do work. If you are having skipped stitches, try this needle out. That's how I realized how much I needed this particular needle.

Janome machine? use Janome or Organ needles! I had been using Schmetz needles, and kept having thread breaking and tangling. I learned that Schmetz needles are about 1 mm longer than Janome or Organ. If you have a German machine, use German needles. Japanese machine, use Japanese machines. They aren't all the same length, and it makes a difference! If you compare them, you can easily see the difference. After switching to the Janome needles, I sewed an entire quilt top without a single tangle or break, and was done with it 30 minutes earlier.

Makes sewing bulky heavy things easier

These were recommended for sewing jelly roll rugs. They have turned out to be the best I have used ever. No skipped stitches. I was not making it through one rug without skipped stitches before. And that was with a brand new needle. These are all I will use from now on.

Ich RASTE AUS!!! Wollte meine JellyRoll Rugs mit herkömmlichem Nähgarn nähen, weil ich von dem so ziemlich alle Farben habe..keine Chance. Egal, ob Markengarn, egal, welche Nadel ich probiert habe, egal, wie viel ich an der Spannung gedreht habe.. NUR Fehlstiche beim Zickzack. Und meine Maschine ist frisch gewartet, hat schon alles Mögliche bewältigt. Das einzige, was ging, war Stickgarn, aber das fand ich wegen der Reißfestigkeit nicht optimal. Ich hab ne Janome, also hab ich in meiner Ratlosigkeit den „Geheimtipp“ purple tips probiert. UN-FREAKIN-FASSBAR. Meine Jamie näht meine JRR mit jedem Garn, auch dem günstigen und in schnellem Tempo so zuverlässig, wie ich es von ihr gewohnt bin. Null Fehlstiche. Dobby ist glücklich!

These needles are very useful for machining thick or heavy material on a Janome machine. The normal needles do not give a good tension to the seams.

These came highly recommended for making jelly roll rugs
