KATSU Tools Two Jaw Gear Bearing Puller Extractor Ultra Thin Claws 4" 100mm

simple but brilliant piece of kit. I have Mira 88 shower to service and could not remove large plastic knob without damage. 150mm version of this puller took it off in seconds. saved its cost by not having to buy new knobs. excellent. do measure your job first the table of sizes on the listing will ensure you get the right one.

I had to remove this stuck inner bearing ring to replace with a new one and no amount of WD-40 or beating would loosen it. At first I had ordered a 3 jaw puller from another manufacturer but it turned out too thick for my use case. Luckily I found this one, with its thin jaws made it very easy to grip given the small amount of space I had. After getting a firm grip, I had to use a spanner wrench on the hexagonal nut as the supplied rod wouldn’t budge the bearing ring. Ultimately, it’s good value for money and extremely strong and well made. Another useful tool for my garage.

It's a bit fiddly to use but it works once you've got the hang of it. The point is too wide for really small bearings, but I just use a M3 bolt placed in the centre of the bearing and the head of the bolt under the pointed tip of the puller and it works fine. Easy to take off bearings etc once you get the hang of it, the quality is great and reasonably priced. Would reccomend.

Great , used for stripped bike crankset . Removed it easy and didn't have to clamp arms . Would recommend.

Its pretty sturdy however, the claws on either side easily slip as soon as some pressure is applied, overall not a great product. it did eventually do the job after multiple attempts of slowly loosening the seized component and a slight element of heat being added to the equation. Overall though not a great product 2/5 Feels like i wasted £10

It's a small puller and it does it's job

Looks and feels reasonably sturdy, good design for the quick release to remove the arms and a good length. The tightening bar has no retention lock so can disappear in your tool box and the puller lasted 3 pulls on a 5 inch plate removal of an MTU throttle valve before bending in on itself and traping the threads. Gone to scrap heaven.

I didn't expect much for the price, which was ok as I only really needed it for one job which it carried out. The item appears to be sand cast, to a poor standard. The threads do not move that smoothly, plus the metal is very soft, so the tip became very blunt quickly. However, as stated, it did the job of pulling a bearing admirably. It probably has a few more uses in it, but if you want something to use regularly then look elsewhere and spend a considerable amount more!

The steel is of poor quality. I bent the tool using it twice. Would not recommend.

Lo compré a sabiendas de que por 10€ no iba a ser gran cosa. De hecho dudaba si con las garras sueltas y sin nada para fijarlas no se abrirían al aplicar presión para extraer los rodamientos. En mi caso quería extraer un par de rodamientos del eje rotor de una radial. Sorprendentemente ha cumplido su función mucho mejor de lo que esperaba. Hay que molestarse en colocar las garras de forma que el eje quede alineado con el tornillo pero no es complicado. Con el primer rodamiento lo sacó sin problema. El Segundo estaba reventado y sólo quedaba la pista de rodadura interior casi soldada al eje y sin apenas espacio debajo para colar las garras. Tuve que limar un poco la pista de rodadura para que las garras pudiesen tener algo más de apoyo pero igualmente hicieron su trabajo. Muy satisfecho con el producto para un uso puntual y doméstico.
