These are hefty and solid. Nice quality. Since it is almost summer here, I can use them for cold soups and store in the fridge with the lids. Possibly use them for pasta salads. I chose this option because of the handle and lid option. Thank you.

These are excellent quality, fun to use and very cutely pseudo-nostalgic. I never saw anything like this as a kid but there's something about them that feels like I should have. They make easy little personal casserole dishes and I've had a good time being inspired to think up things to bake in them - overnight oats with sliced apples, chili "pie" with corn bread and cheddar topping, individual cottager's pies, etc.

I bought a similar product from a well-known national competitor and the crock bowls were defective. This competitor also had makeshift packaging i.e. a poorly constructed cardboard box to hold the four individual boxes with minimal taping on the one big box. I sent them back and ordered from Amazon! The KooK French Onion Soup Crocks with Lids, Ceramic Bowls, Large Handles (an Amazon choice product) were perfectly crafted, had a shiny ceramic finish, and no defects. They look exactly like the item displayed at Amazon's website. And, the crocks from Amazon were packaged individual and neatly inside of a sturdy Kook box. These crocks have the Kook trademark logo on the bottom of each bowl. The competitor's crocks had nothing on the bottom. Amazon and Kook get 5 stars for a job well done!

This is perfect , makes it easy to make soups and cheese on top and the cover keeps it hot . You definitely need these trust me

I absolutely love these crocks ! The first thing I made was French onion soup . The presentation on the finished soup was as good as you will ever get in any restaurant ! They hold a hefty 15 ounces each so one of them along with a salad is a full meal . They can also be used for chili , spinach artichoke dip etc. etc. They were easy to clean and they look beautiful. They are dishwasher , oven and microwave safe. BUT they do get HOT HOT HOT !!! So please be careful when removing them from the oven or microwave. I bought mine "used" for $22 but they were just an open box return. I saw zero evidence of them ever being used, A steal for 4 of them with lids. I would have gladly paid $39 for the set but the "used set" was available so I jumped on it. Get them ! You will not be disappointed.

Nicer than I expected. We use them for French onion soup and chili. The only drawback is coming out of the dishwasher they retain some water due to their shape. Not a killer but watch out you don’t get water all over you and your floor!😄

All the kids were broken snd return instructions not clear . It’s not clear if return to usa the origin has to be paid. Very poor packaging!
