A great collection
This is a very inexpensive collection of eight of their earliest albums, several of which are gospel. The Stanley Brothers are the best and the cost of this collection, being so low, makes this a great value.

Thee of the four CDs have good sound. The fourth which is the first CD sound is a little thin but still good Overall the set is terrific.

Sounds great!
Eight of their earlier albums. There's a mix of mono and stereo. Everything sounds great. This isn't a deluxe boxed set. However the quality of the package is more than acceptable for this price point. Highly recommended to Stanley Brothers and bluegrass fans.

The Stanley Brothers
No less than eight bluegrass albums in this Box Set, the first being from the Mercury label, followed by others from the King label. This is a great collection of bluegrass, with Ralph Stanley being among the best of the banjo players, with Carter Stanley on the guitar and a brilliant vocalist who unfortunaely passed away as a fairly young man, leaving Ralph to continue later on. This is a wonderful collection of traditional bluegrass by the two brothers known as the Stanley Brothers.

かなり昔にStardy/King 時代の録音をＣＤ４枚にまとめた縦長のボックスがありましたが、現在は廃盤。 ドイツのBear Family もボックス化しないし、現時点ではこれが最高です。 リマスタリングでかなり聴きやすいです。
