does the plastic adapter come off? my low beam bulb connects via 2 metal prongs.

your low beam is probably an H7 bulb

Just wondering i have a 2014 kia sorento. i seei this for high beam. but on my truck it goes in the low beam side. is this for low and high beam?

Does this fit a fog light?

The easiest way is to take the old bulb out and look at the model number. But these are normally used for front beam (day running) lights, not fog.
