Review: Review of Traditional Taekwon do Forms - This video is very well done. Master Kang and his students explain the patterns very well. As a Black Belt I found it to be very helpful in helping me to practice the patterns correctly. I have recommended others students, who are learning the patterns, to use the video as guide at home as they are learning a new pattern.

No sine wave! Thank goodness.
If you're a beginner, this DVD will help you understand and perform the forms better. If you've been practising Traditional TKD for a while and are well-versed in these forms, you will benefit immensely by trying to practice them at full power along with Grandmaster Kang at his pace. There may be a few variations from one school to the other, but overall, these forms provide a good picture. Since these forms are from the pre-sine wave era, those who use the sine wave may find the transitions and movements a bit different from that they are used to. I wanted a non-sine wave rendering of the Chang Hon forms and this is exactly it.

Chang Hon Black Belt forms done correctly.
Volume two is the Chang Hon Black Belt forms as done before the silly sign wave. Volume two is also an excellent clear video, as was Volume 1.

TKD Volume One
I have been studying martial arts for over 15 years to include the instruction and training of students. This is and excellent reference video. All forms are accurately performed and easy to follow. A must have for the TKD practitioner.

Traditional Taekwondo Forms Volume Two
Great DVD for ITF TaeKwon Do beginners; However it is not a true ITF TaeKwon Do DVD also Master Tae Sun Kang doesn't appear to be a true ITF TaeKwon Do instructor. These forms could have been performed better by many students, all the patterns performed by Master Kang were done much too fast.
