Review: Does not taste like Dan Dan from a Szechuan Chinese restaurant - This very well could be authentic Dan Dan sauce. It has the spice level and tingle of Dan Dan from a Szechuan Chinese restaurant, at least the ones I've been to, but not the taste. Needs sugar and Chinese or regular tahini. The sauce is not bad but, if you're looking for that restaurant taste, this is not it.

As others have said, this tastes nothing like Dan Dan sauce. One taste was all it took. I threw out both bottles.

Tastes nothing like Dan Dan
Did not taste like Dan Dan sauce. It tasted like someone mixed soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili oil together and thatโs it.
