E7000 Carpenter's Wood Glue, 4 Fl oz

Replacing my old glue with this one has been a smart move. It doesn't dry too fast, giving me time to work, yet it sets solidly where it counts. I found the green version works especially well for fixing cracks and joints on my guitar. It's reliable and handy to have around in the workshop.

When our coffee table leg started wobbling again, I grabbed this Elmers wood glue instead of bothering my brother in law whos a contractor. Squeezed a line, clamped it overnight, next morning the leg was solid and the kids went right back to climbing on it. Nice thick texture and it dries strong.

I grabbed this Elmer’s carpenter glue because the cheap glue at work kept failing on the med cart drawers. I’m a night-shift nurse and come home too wired to sleep, so i tinker with little repair projects. This bottle is small but lasts. I fixed a wobbly dining chair and a split cutting board edge. I just brushed a thin line into the crack, pressed it together, then clamped it with two random textbooks overnight. Next morning, it felt solid and didn’t creak when my husband sat down. The twist cap doesn’t gunk up much, so I can open it even when i’m half-asleep after a shift. Glad I went with this instead of another bargain glue.

This little bottle rides in my trunk for trailhead parking lot fixes, since I’m always tinkering with my DIY wooden boot bench and trekking pole rack. Took the Elmer’s E7000 out last weekend when one of the rack arms snapped right before a hike. I brushed a thin line, clamped it with a spare strap, and by the time we got back the joint felt tight and solid. It dries a nice light color so my messy line didn’t stand out. i like that it’s thick enough not to run everywhere but still spreads easy with a scrap of cardboard. Made me glad I’d tossed it in my daypack box instead of leaving it in the garage.
