Swing into Batmanโs third and final season where the Dynamic Duo has become a newly formed Terrific Trio. Turning chaos into calm, Batman, Robin and Batgirl (Yvonne Craig) try to keep Gotham safe by stopping the cityโs foulest and most felonious! With rogue wrongdoers like the sly Siren (Joan Collins), lethal Louie The Lilac (Milton Berle) and unethical Egghead (Vincent Price) running rampant, Batman, Batgirl and the Boy Wonder have their superhero hands full. Special guest villains like Berle, Collins and Eartha Kitt, (as Catwoman) light up the screen in pristine splendor like never before in the final season of this television classic! TBC Review: Holy Time Machine! - Loved this as a kid, seems even better as an adult... Especially great are the extras that are packed in. I watched a 30 minute show where Adam West met with SuperFans who have turned their homes into shrines to the Batman series. There's a sit-down luncheon with a few celebrities that is priceless. I felt like I was there with them, enjoying the moment with Adam West. He reveals something that never occurred to me when I was a kid: they were making a comedy. It wasn't "camp," where it's unintentionally funny; it was actually made as a comedy at the time. He pokes fun at Batman's need to label EVERYTHING in the Batcave with Bat-related signage. The addition of Batgirl for Season 3 is a lot of fun. Getting the see her intro to the series and seeing the episodes in order was something that I didn't get to experience as a kid. It really is a hoot to watch. Now that I know it was meant as a comedy, I no longer have to cringe when I see the Batusi dance or when Robin punches away furiously at a bank of buttons to get the Bat-Computer's estimation of the Joker's next crime. They were in on the gag the whole time! Ha! If you have young kids, break out the discs on a Saturday morning and save them from the horrible shows that are passed off as kid's programming. Batman is the REAL DEAL! I introduced my nephew to Speed Racer a decade ago and he STILL loves the classic cartoon! Review: Batman: Season 3 - I really enjoyed Batman- Season 3 DVD very much. I hadn't seen these episodes in several decades since they were in syndication on TV. I really enjoyed seeing the Riddler again played by the one and only Frank Gorshin. But I wished he had been given more than 1 episode since he was nowhere to be seen in season 2. Still it was also so nice seeing Batgirl and, of course, King Tut in the incredible episode where both Bruce Wayne & Batman are actually seen together for the first time! I loved the way they did that! And I also enjoyed Dr. Cassandra releasing from prison six top villains: Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman, Egghead & King Tut. It 's sad though, that they couldn't get the real actors to play these villains but it was still nice to see them all together! The Batman TV series went out with a bang in this final season! Thank you so much for the speedy delivery as well!

A STAR STUDDED HISTORIC EXPERIENCE
I have completed my vintage original BATMAN series collection with this purchase. Product came before the promised date and as described Brand New factory sealed - very happy and what an enjoyable view . I really enjoy seeing the many stars who played Batmanโs foe from Frank Gorshin to Milton Berle , Yvonne Craig , Joan Collins and who canโt appreciate theโ POWโ THWACKโ and โ ZAPโ graphics that makes Batman leap from the pages of the DC comic pages into your living room . This makes for many hours of enjoyable none stop entertainment for me. Simply priceless - John T

Not as good as the first two seasons!
Let's face it, if you're looking to buy this, you're not looking for serious Batman(for that, see the Michael Keaton movie Batman)! But this series is for the person looking for fun! Admittedly, the third season went downhill a bit from the first two, but it still had its pluses: great guest villains(Burgess Merideth[The Penguin], Frank Gorshin[The Riddler], Victror Buono[King Tut], the great Milton Berle[Louie The Lilac] and the iconic Vincent Price as Egghead)!! Also, this season introduced Yvonne Craig as Batgirl. As for the episodes, there are some good ones, but a lot of duds! But it completes the series and is a must buy for those Batman fans! RP

I am so happy to get the third season of the Batman television series. I donโt have to worry about missing episodes with a aired on television, and I can be able to watch it any day of the week on DVD!

Parting is such sweet sorrow.
This unfortunately is the last and final season of Batman. It was also unfortunately its worst season, probably because of its imminent cancellation. It had a good run, but it was showing it's somewhat(by now)monotonous tone.In order to change things up this year it went from two weekly shows to one show weekly. And they mostly wrapped up each show individually, instead of going on to another part the next one. There were exceptions of course.Vincent Price,Burgess Meredith,Frank Gorshin,Victor Buono and Caesar Romero were on hand doing their wonderful bits. The less than exciting roles came with these celebs:Milton Berle as Louie the Lilac,Cliff Robertson as Shame and Dina Merrill as Calamity Jan,Ida Lupino and (real hubby)Howard Duff as Dr.Casandra and Cabala, respectively,Barbara Rush as Nora Clavicle,Anne Baxter as the Cossack Queen,Rudy Vallee as Lord Flogg and Glynis Johns as Lady Peasoup,Ethel Merman as Lola Lasagna(yeah,I know!),and Joan Collins as the Siren. This year they subbed Catwoman with Eartha Kitt.I left her to last, because I think as much as I have always thought of Newmar as THE Catwoman,Eartha really brought it to the table and then some.So after all these years I have to give them both a tie at the top for the coveted cat-position.Besides,both looked like they had been poured into their costumes....meow!. This season saw a different approach in the acting,I felt. Many of the characters were playing their parts with more abandon and more braodly. There were also more faux paux's taking place, which should have been edited out.For example, one scene with Rudy Vallee has him blowing smoke from his pipe.In the background two people pass behind him in a matter of a few seconds.Another has the Los Angeles County Museum subbing for the Gotham City Museum(we can plainly read the writing on the building!). And finally we have the arrival of Yvonne Craig as Batgirl.A big mistake in my opinion.I know they were completely shaking things up to try and reboot the show, but it just wasn't working;this being a big"not working".Her appearances hindered rather than furthered the stories,I thought, and that horrible, horrible theme music of hers, especially in one ep where it is actually sung.Holy "plug your ears" Batman!.This is a case of looks only getting one so far. The final disc in this DVD set is a wonderful bonus disc with everything you ever wanted to know about the show and then some.It has several featurettes which will keep you glued to your set. All in all a disappointing season for the series, as it takes its final bow.The creators tried to shake it up this year, but it was all for naught. What aficionados of the show WILL remember are the first two seasons.not this one, which has little of importance to keep it in ones mind. The five stars are for the remastering of the show. The show itself is worth only about three stars. When this show was running on all four cylinders,it was beautiful.Adam West will always be my favourite Batman. Thanks to the entire production team for a job well done.

Great copies of this series.
My last set to complete the series. Many of these episodes were skipped over in syndication so I am getting to see many of them for the first time in many years.
