These are great brushes! They feel so soft and look very pro for the price. When i first opened them they did have just a lil smell to them but not to bad. The sponge was the one that had a strong scent. I.m super glad it came in a pouch. Perfect for travel. I wish they would number the brushes. Be easier to figure which is which for a beginner. I.ve never really used brushes before besides a powder brush that was giving to me, so i had to stare at the tips for awhile and looking at the paper to figure what was what. There was definitely a difference with my liquid foundation. I have always used a sponge for that but using the flat brush was wooow. Got more coverage and didnt use as much. The sponge is ok. It does expand quite to a big size. Using it to put on liquid foundation wasn.t so great though. I felt it just soaked it up and didnt get as much on my face. So i use it to just blend my concealer instead. The powder brush is really good for people who use powder more than liquid. For me personal the powder brush is very packed together and if i used to much powder it would make my face very flakey and cakey. My mother though loves it since she uses powder n not liquid. She says it gave her more coverage. So i just gave it to her. Lol. I also use the blush brush to put on my bronzer and it blends great! I can.t say much about the eye brushes since i don.t put on eyeshadow. Overall these are really great brushes to have and glad I got them. Will definitely be recommending.

These are excellent for beginners, such as myself. Ordered these about a year ago and they are still holding up great. I use them just about everyday. I love the variety in size and shape in the set. It comes in handy when experimenting with makeup. Bristles are soft and durable. It does not shed as much as other brushes I've owned. It's easy to clean and I leave them upside down to dry. The handles are pretty standard but sturdy. The metal part is not the best, but it does it's job and I love the gold color. I've gotten a lot of compliments from friends when they see these displayed in my room. They look like higher end brushes, for a quarter of the price! The addition of the blending sponge is also great. I moisten it before use so it won't absorb as much product. It's not the greatest but nothing beats free. This set comes packaged in a little drawstring bag with the brushes individually wrapped. They did have a bit of that manufacturing scent, which washes away when rinsed. Definitely recommend these! You won't be disappointed.

I just bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend and I wasn't really sure what to expect. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! First- the controversial smell factor. Honestly, it really isn't too bad. I washed the brushes right away with a brush shampoo and the smell went away. If you've ever ordered something that was delivered in plastic, it's the same smell. Nothing as dramatic as what some have put down. Second- washing. I immediately decided to wash these before I gifted them as soon as I put in the order. If the smell didn't come out, if it didn't retain shape or shed, it was getting returned. And honestly all the brushes held up well. Only one brush shed a tiny bit, nothing out of the ordinary. And they all retained the shape after drying out, which is a big win. Third- quality. Now obviously I can't speak to long term wear or use, which is why I will only give this 4 stars. But I will say that the brush in hand feels great. They are thick and feel weighty-- something I like in a brush. I can definitely keep a good grip. And the brush bristles are densely packed where they should be, so that's also a plus. I can't say I opened the sponge-- I wanted to keep it away from bacteria for my friend and preserve as much of the packaging as possible. But I pressed on it from within its plastic and I can say that it's super soft and snaps into shape quickly. And I think the company has listened to reviews on here because they included an info card about the brushes. Some reviews said they didn't get one.

upon receiving this set, my first impression was that it looks more expensive than what i paid for.. it comes with a pouch that is great for traveling and a card that tells you what kind each brush is. the brushes themselves are very well made, they are VERY soft but dense enough to apply makeup with ease. i washed them as soon as i got them and no bristles shed though there are some that are longer than others but it’s nothing a good trimming can’t fix. in addition, the blender that came with it is not as soft as an original beauty blender but it does a good job when applying foundation. i used the entire set today for the first time to apply my makeup and i am very impressed with its performance. this set is really a good value for your money and it is perfect for everyday makeup and a great set for those who are just starting to explore the world of makeup.

I just got these today so I haven’t used them yet, so I can’t speak for the actual use of them, but they came packaged nicely in their own black fabric drawstring bag which makes it very convenient for travel. Each brush is individually wrapped inside with a disposable plastic cover. The smell that many people have commented on is present, but not overwhelming. It almost smells like a new pool float- a sort of plastic smell, but not very strong. I had one of the brushes out for a few min to feel it and before putting it back with the others I smelled it and didn’t notice a smell, so I think they just need a few min to air out- they were stored in plastic covers and inside a plastic bag for who knows how long after all. The bristles feel very soft, and running my fingers through and over the bristles didn’t cause any to fall out. The handles are attached well, I don’t feel any loose handles. It also comes with a card to explain what each brush is designed to do and how to use it, which I find awesome! Overall these look and feel like awesome brushes! I will come back to update the review if I don’t feel the same way after using them!

I got this kit specifically because it includes a beauty blender and I didn't have to purchase one separately. The beauty blender I got is junk though. It smelled awful, took 5 washes before I got most of the smell out and even then there is still this faint chemically, almost turpentine like smell that I don't want near my face. When I tried to use it with my concealer and with my foundation it just absorbed it entirely instead of only picking up a little bit while blending like other beauty blenders I've had. Overall, the blender is just trash. The brushes are pretty good quality though which is why I'm still giving the kit 3 stars. They also had a weird smell but just one wash and they didn't have any hint of it any more. During the wash no hairs fell out and I haven't had an issue with them falling out during application either. The brushes are great for foundation, contouring, highlighting and for blending. I don't think I'd purchase again because I have bought other brushes of similar quality that had no smell, and I'd prefer that any day. It honestly makes me wonder how they made these brushes/blender and what harmful additives could be in them. That said I'm not so mad that I'm going to return these. The smell (and I'm hoping whatever was causing it) is gone from the brushes so they're definitely usable. Theyll be my interim set until I can find a higher quality alternative. I just received my brush set today. I have to say for being inexpensive they're extremely soft. They seem to be very durable they're large brushes. I have not yet used them, but for now just seeing them, and feeling how great they were put together I have to give this set 5 stars. I hope to buy more in the future. For someone who is just starting out with a YouTube channel I need many bulrushes. It's hard to find ones you like for a decent price. I can easily say I found some I like finally. UPDATE: I washed my brushes with my real techniques brush cleaner, and they're drying out on a cloth. Will be trying them out today (: UPDATE: I have used these brushes I do really like them however I dropped one today, and it broke right apart. I glue it back together so we will see if it holds up. Personally I feel I should get a replacement brush for that reason, but I'm not sure how customer service works with where they came from.

The brushes came packed nicely with bubble wrap cushioning. the outer layer had the chemical smell as well. Expectedly the brushes did have a strong chemical smell. I washed them the moment I received them. Let's hope the smell goes away! The bristles are nicely dense and soft. I don't have any experience with high end makeup brushes to really compare the quality. However I had bought a smililar "Chinese" brand on Amazon 3 years ago I still use them and this one is very similar to that, So I'm hoping this will last me a few years. The extra blending sponge however is very hard. I don't have the original Beauty Blender but I do have a couple of Real Technique ones and compare this black blending sponge with the RT blending sponge, I can clearly tell the difference. This one is too hard, its dense so hard to squeeze out the water and it does not feel soft and light like my Real Technique ones do. Overall its a good product, for the price atleast.

Great brushes, and they're all incredibly soft. I'm not the biggest fan of the sponge, as it absorbs a huge amount of product and is too soft to really use on my face, although that's not too big of a deal since I can just use the brushes. They also come with a pouch to carry all of the brushes in, which is very useful. They apply makeup fairly well, and for the price point, there's not much to complain about.

Da ich mir vor einiger Zeit ein 20tlg. Pinselset gekauft habe in dem fast nur feine, schmale Pinsel waren, musste nun für Make up und Rouge auch noch ein Set mit breiteren Pinseln her. Dieses Set enthält 10 unterschiedliche Pinsel, welche im Design sehr edel wirken. Die fünf breiten Pinsel haben eine Größe von ca. 16,5cm und die schmalen Pinsel sind ca. 18cm. Beide liegen aber praktisch in der Hand und man kann damit sehr gut arbeiten. Da es sich um reine Handarbeit handelt, habe ich mir auch ein sehr gut verarbeitetes Produkt erwartet. Dies wurde mir bei der täglichen Anwendung bestätigt. Die Borsten sind besonders angenehm und weich, verlieren aber keine Haare. Auch der Griff ist auf der Halterung gut befestigt und löst sich nicht. Neben den Pinseln gibt es auch noch ein 5,5cm großes, eiförmiges Schwämmchen um das Make up besser zu verteilen. Zum Reinigen des Sets reicht warmes Wasser und eine milde Seife. Dieses Set bekommt von mir 5Sterne, da das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt.

Il set è composto da 10 pennelli, 5 più grandi per il viso e 5 più piccoli per gli occhi, da una spugnetta (beauty blender) e da un sacchettino nero dove riporli. Sono molto professionali, eleganti, tutti neri e con il bordo dorato. I pennelli sono fitti e le setole morbide, per ora non perdono peli (non li ho ancora testati). La consegna è stata molto veloce, il set è arrivato anche un giorno prima del dovuto. Il tutto è stato consegnato in un pacchetto di plastica al cui interno vi erano: · un sacchetto nero in tessuto in cui tutti i pennelli erano riposti; · una bustina di plastica dove vi era la beauty blender. Tutti i pennelli presentavano un proprio rivestimento di plastica. Sono molto contenta dell'acquisto, per un prezzo così basso non mi sarei mai aspettata una qualità del genere. Ottimo!!!!

J'avais un peu peur en voyant les différents commentaires, mais en réalité il n'en est rien, je n'ai pas du tout l'odeur dont tout le monde parle, soit je m'en sors bien, soit EmaxDesign vent un nouveau lot et adieu cette odeur ! Bref ! J'ai acheté ce lot de pinceaux pour offrir à ma compagne, donc je ne saurai trop rentrer dans les détails, mais sachez déjà qu'elle était agréablement surprise de l'emballage initial, puis de la pochette fournit, elle permet de garder ses pinceaux au propre. Chaque pinceau est d'une taille différente et (de ce que j'ai compris) chaque pinceau aura une utilisation différente. Avec autant de choix, vous trouverez forcément votre bonheur. Les pinceaux sont de bonne qualité et les poils ne se perdent pas.
