No all Tahini is created equal. This brand is IMO the best Tahini you can get in the U.S.A. I've tried many, and no one has yet to beat this one. For the very basic recipe, mix with fresh lemon juice, a little salt and water until it has the consistency of ranch dressing (liquid, but thick).

We like the sweet and pure taste. This is a gold-standard tahini. I like supporting the decent community that produces it. It is more costly than domestic (USA-made tahini), but it is a worthwhile splurge that makes my prepared foods taste amazing. Kosher and vegan so you know it's under strict supervision in the preparation. The jars are plastic so it reduces costs of shipping. It also prevents the waste and disappointments from accidentally dropping a glass jar of tahini on a tile floor.

This is the best tasting tahini, high quality and well sealed. They do separate a bit at the bottom, but very lightly and so much better than other brands. The taste is worth it. They are a bit pricey.

Everyone who uses a lot of Tahini generally prefers Ethiopian. I'm no exception but also have a soft spot for Lebanese. This is as good as I've used. The flavor is perfect. My only complaint was with the packing in the shipping box. Two jars got their seals broken in delivery and leaked inside the box. Amazon gladly refunded my money and told me to keep the jar that stayed intact. As soon as I washed the Tahini off the outside from the leaking jars I made a hummus. It was GREAT!

The tahini itself is great, love the flavor, the consistency, fabulous. The problem is that in the last shipment it was sent in a paper bag, and of course it was smashed during shipment, all I got was a hot mess of tahini paste in a leaking paper bag, there was nothing to salvage
