Easy install. Works great!!

I have 2 other G2 Gateways. They costed about $23.99 each less than the G2 Gateway I last purchased it from the same company and cist more $36.99. Why I truly do not know BUT I received it April 28th and it JUST went offline over night. My TTLOCK application let me know the time and date it dropped. I did all the troubleshooting and more to try and connect it again. The app found it but had the device identified as G2-00000 and it tried to connect 1 time. I had been trying over and over again for like 2 or 3 days already so I was soooo excited I entered the wifi password in the Name the Device space and the name of the device in the Password space. The G2 connected. I was done-founded. Why would it connect with the wrong password? So I thought for a few minutes and decided to disconnect it and reconnect with the correct information. NIW, it wouldn't connect again and that's when the device start reading G2-00000. That happened May 27th and the deadline to return the device was May 28th. Which I didn't realize until May 30th, today at 4pm. Been trying and trying to reconnect. I do not like returning items but this is the 2nd items I have lost money on. NOT WANTING TO RETURN IT! I don't like loosing money either. I have 2 items here "Just Sitting". SMDH But in all the other 2 G2 Gateways are work pretty good, 1 is working excellently. The other has dropped offline about 2 or 3 times but reconnected itself. Not sure why ot dropped off. I am getting faster and further reaching wifi equipment [TP LINK] MY house it 32000 Sq ft and I am doing wifi with 45000 Sq ft. Will see how that might work by June 2nd.

It worked well for 4 years. Purchased in 2022 and then started failing in 2026. This may be typical of other gateways as well. Otherwise it worked great while it lasted.

When I went to install my new Nyboer Smart Lever Plus, it quickly became evident that that shaft of the handle was not going to fit into the latch mechanism. It would only push in a little ways and not go any further. So, I tried inserting the shaft from the opposite direction. The shaft got stuck and would neither go in or come out. I had to pound it out with a hammer and totally destroyed the inner latch mechanism.. I have installed plenty of door handles in my day, and I have never not been able to achieve a successful outcome. I give this product a huge thumbs down. I have an update on this product and it's manufacturer...... Nyboer reached out to me to inquire as to what my complaint was and how they could rectify the situation. SO, I told them about the troubles I had experienced trying to install the lock, and how I was forced to, basically, destroy the inner mechanism to get it out of my door and reinstall the original lock. tHey said that was not a problem and they would send me a new mechanism. But, i had to admit, and sadly report that I was afraid they they would blame me for destroying the lock and not do anything to help me, so in an effort to come up with a plausible reason to send me a new unit, I had pulled the wiring clip off and the the old one was irreversibly damaged. to my shock, they said that they perfectly understood the predicament and said that they would indeed send me a brand new unit, if I provided them with my mailing address. So, I was only too happy to comply and anxiously awaited my new lock to arrive to see if, indeed it was just a manufacturing defect or if the new lock would also prove to be a challenge to install. To my utter delight, when the new unit arrived in the mail, the first thing that I checked was to see if the square metal shaft would fit into the latch mechanism, and it went in without any problems. I am happy to say that it was a successful installation, and the product is truly a marvel! I could not be more pleased with my new Nyboer Smart Lock, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking safety, security, and ease of entrance into their home. I sincerely thank Nyboer, from the bottom of my heart, for aking things right and ensuring that I am indeed a very happy and satisfied customer!

I cannot believe they did not include a wall plug with USB cable, absolutely SHAMEFUL! I got this for a lock and it has to be plugged into a computer which is usually not near a door so the signal is weak. It works so far. I had trouble connecting. I have three wifi name options and it picked the wrong one. I had great difficulty selecting the one I wanted because it would only show one at a time at the bottom of the screen and they were hard to select. This took about 20 minutes to set up.

Havnt had any issues. Can remotely control my lock for the entry door now. Love it.
