Bought as a gift.

I went out and bought this after I watched the trailer and after playing 'Call of Cthulhu' / 'Blair Witch', this seemed like a good choice... so far i'm only a couple of hours into it and i'm not regretting the purchase, it is what I expected... a simple game where all that is required is walking, exploration & the stealth element. The visuals are wonderful, so is the atmosphere and sound but it is in no way scary! Like both games I mentioned before ; there isn't much to the gameplay, walk/explore/sneek is simply it. I do like the idea, setting & story so far but it's all too simple although that's what I expected from a small 3rd party developer. It's the kind of game you'd imagine to be on sale on the AppStore or PSN for like £10-15 and that's when to buy it if your interested, it's worth no more than £25. {EDIT : To add the game is only about 4/5 hrs long and has 2 possible endings, subsequent playthroughs are tedious unless your hunting for trophies.} BUYER WARNING : I own a barely 1 year old PS4 Pro that doesn't seem to like this game anymore, I don't know if it's to do with the new firmware update 8.00 or possibly a failing HDD because at the same point in the game towards the end during a cutscene the fan goes on overdrive and the console turns off! I read it's because of overheating which is impossible as every other game I own has no issue with overheating. Out of curiosity I opened up the console to clean but there's barely any dust on the vents and fan. The game is patched and has been uninstalled/reinstalled but it's the same issue every time. No other game has caused my console to turn off!! {EDIT : I installed a brand new SSD and tried this game again and still it does the same thing, it's more likely that I have an internal issue with the PS4. Quite possibly the heat sink / thermal paste that I read so much about!}

Scary and exciting, well worth the purchase

Doing nothing but creeping about avoiding everything, stuck at opening 4 locks on glass cabinet with only 3 switches!!.Gave up after countless attempts. Not recommended.

Good start and graphics but fades and gets predictable .

My partner just got a ps4 and he has been looking at this game so I thought I would get it for him
