Be careful
I really like the grocery list and, in theory, the idea of making a ton of baby food in advance. The issue is, you don’t really know what your baby likes until they try it. I enthusiastically shopped off the grocery list and made several items for the week. Now we’re stuck eating two pounds of unsalted shredded beef because my baby wants no part of it. My baby literally learned how to shake her head to say “no” while I was trying to feed her it. I suggest making only a quarter to a third of the recipe first so you can see if your baby likes it, instead of filling your freezer and ice trays with food they won’t touch. I took a star off because the grocery lists and recipes need editing. The grocery list tends to have items that are never used in that section. The recipes sometimes neglect to tell you essential information up top. They’re often like, “oh yeah by the way, the barley I told you to use should be ground up beforehand because it’s a choking hazard”, on the bottom corner of the page. I have a baby. I have to quickly squint at the page and try to do things before the next interruption. I can’t be sitting here reading footnotes.

Best Baby Food Book!
If I could give this book 10 stars I would! Let me just preface this by sharing a little backstory: 6 years ago I tried Baby Led Weaning with my first child, it was all the rage and despite it being a complete nightmare and disaster I stuck to it. My kid didn’t eat anything until after 1 years old all he did was throw the food on the floor. And now he’s the pickiest eater ever! This time around I said, let me try this other method. And I’m so glad I did. This book has simple easy to prepare recipes. My baby loves all of them and is such a great eater. Can you believe she’s eating curry at 8 months old? She loves all her veggies and has eaten every recipe in this book so far from stage 1 to stage 2. It takes me a week of cooking a few recipes each day to prepare food that last up to 3 months. I love how easy this is to do and how much better it is than buying babyfood at the store that has been sitting on a shelf for months with god knows what preservatives and ingredients. If you’re starting weaning, run and get this book! It has been such a joy! Nothing better than feeding your baby fresh healthy food and seeing them eat it all up.

Such a helpful book, and really takes a load off 🙏🏻🥰❤️
This book has so much to offer for every single stage of your baby's lead weaning stages. From there very first foods all the way up to when they're a toddler! Also there are weekly meals plans for breakfast lunch dinner and even the snacks in between ! Having to decide on what's for dinner alone every single night for the entire family can be such a hassle, so already having a pre made meal plan written up for your little one is more than convinient! If you're a parent interested in making all the food your baby is going to consume yourself, that alone is already time consuming enough so I believe this book is a perfect purchase for you! Take a chance and order the book ❤️

A healthy start for your baby
I used this book to feed my baby, and I can't say enough good things about it! I lived the stages, and it made starting solids so much less intimidating. I appreciate that the author is a dietician. I knew I wanted to make my own baby food, and this made it so much easier. The meal plans are so helpful and take the effort out of introducing allergens and new foods, and so on. The grocery lists are helpful as well. I will say that I think it made more food than my baby would go through before it gets too old in the freezer, but maybe my kid didn't eat much as a baby. A lot of the recipes I love eating myself, like broccoli cheese muffins, salmon patties, and ginger garlic meatballs. It's actually a go-to cookbook for several things, even though my daughter is 2 1/2 now. I think the approach of giving babies a lot of flavors worked well, because my toddler now is a great eater! She got a really great start from this book.

Basic recipes , kind of a flop for my baby so far
A lot of the recipes are kind of a little ridiculous, it will teach you how to make a fruit purée or vegetable purée which I feel like is kind of self-explanatory as it’s a one ingredient recipe. I’ll be honest my 10 month old has not really liked any of the recipes so far and we end up throwing them out. He’s liked one recipe so far, but I had to modify it as he did not like it the way it was. However, the recipe is I’ve tried are relatively simple and easy to make

The best baby cooking guide ever
This book is fantastic! My only regret is not buying it earlier. Really enjoyed the fact that I has a shopping list and meal plan suggestions, baby enjoyed the food very much.

Amazing looking book
I bought this for my "work wife" and her fella as a baby shower gift, being a chef i thought it would be a great chefs gift. Having flicked through this book and reading some of the recipies, i can tell its WELL worth the price. It even has clear instructions and development stages...so you know what age to start the next food journey for your baby. I dont have kids, but if i did, even tho im a chef, i would buy this in a heart beat.... If you're expecting a baby and want to ensure they eat only the best things but have no clue about cooking, this will be worth its weight in gold for you!! 5⭐️
