Worth 10 Stars
I would give these 10 stars if possible. These work wonderfully to keep my red wines good for several weeks - especially if they are kept in the fridge. One caution is cleaning. Only wipe down - do not get moisture inside. Very durable and easy to use.

Great for both wines and oils!!!
The simple bottle stopper is one of the most valuable of the accessories for your FoodSaver. They work wonderfully for both wines and oils. We enjoy wine with out dinner several times a week. One of the problems we have had is that the wine left in the bottle often turned to vinegar before we finished it. Using the FoodSaver bottle stoppers has changed that. Wines stay good for two months, either in the refrigerator or pantry. Yes, I have tried a red for that long and compared it with a freshly opened one from my wine keeper. We have shifted to the 1.5 liter bottles of everyday chardonnay from the .75-liter. This alone will save us over $50 a year. Oils are another use of the bottle stoppers. Whether you realize it or not, oils start to turn after about six months of being opened (3 months for nut oils such as walnut). Although we buy small containers of oil, they normally last well beyond their shelf life except for the olive oil. Consequently, we use the bottle stoppers for the other oils including the peanut, walnut, canola, truffle-infused, chili and sesame oils. (Remember to keep the sesame oil in the refrigerator, even with the bottle stopper.) If you like wine or cook with a variety of oils these little jewels will pay for themselves in short order.

Not perfect, but pretty good.
Got a set of these with the idea of using them to keep wine and specialty oils/vinegars (olive, walnut, sesame, etc.) fresh. After a couple of weeks, I can say a few things: - I have had one attempt to seal a bottle fail on the first try, but then work on the second try with the same stopper and bottle (10 days and counting now). Every other sealing attempt worked fine the first time. So, it's probably a good idea to check the stopper after a day to make sure that it worked. - Fit is perfect for wine bottles. However, I did not anticipate that most oil/vinegar bottles would come with a plastic pour insert that's difficult/impossible to remove, and even when removable the stoppers often wouldn't always work with the bottle opening size. - For oils/vinegars, you can buy cheap bottles in the housewares department of your local department store. I got a small/medium bottle for $3/4 at a local store, and they included metal pouring spouts for dispensing; an even smaller bottle was only 99 cents at the local dollar store. - Even cheaper, if somewhat larger and more cumbersome, you can re-use wine bottles as storage containers. Brown-tinted are the best, as they'll block the most damaging light rays and keep your fluids fresher. Took away a star for the possibility of the occasional failed seal, and the bottle issues. But I liked them enough to order a second set.

Great For The Occasional Wine Drinker - Highly Recommended
We bought these FoodSaver Bottle Stoppers for sealing open wine bottles with our FoodSaver V3835 Vacuum Food Sealer with SmartSeal Technology . These have performed very well and have never lost vacuum for us. They are plastic with a hole in the top that acts as a port for the vacuum hose attachment. It just takes a few seconds to get the bottle sealed after you insert the stopper and start the vacuum. I was also surprised that my Actron CP7830 Hand Vacuum Pump does work on this as well. These work pretty much as expected and certainly will save us from having pouring out questionable wine that has sat opened on the counter too long. Recommended! CFH

Works great using my Bonsenkitchen Vacuum Sealer Machine
This works well with my relatively inexpensive vacuum sealer (Bonsenkitchen) using accessory mode and hose adapter . When I take the plug out of the wine bottle you can hear it pop so you know it worked.

Meh
I was excited to get these thinking it'd help with sooooo many opened bottles of things. If they fit the bottle they do a great job. 3 of the 4 bottles I intended it for, it didn't fit. We have an old Food Saver so we have lots of attachments. I wouldn't reorder these or buy the counter top "sealer". They counter top sealer stopped working after less than 3 months. This bottles sealer is very inconsistent in fit.

Awesome! Wish I would have seen these before
What a great accessory for a 10 year old machine. I wish I had bought these before. I got the idea to look for them since I saw that the newer model of the FoodSaver system already comes with a similar attachment. I was thinking of upgrading when I found these! I have already enjoyed my Foodsaver for a long while and saved tons by keeping coffee beans and freezing meats vacuum-packed, now I can enjoy my wine longer after opening a bottle. My wife and I enjoy very different types of wine, now we don't need to compromise, and a bottle will keep tasting great for a week if we want to keep it that long:) Another benefit is that we can taste different wines and seal them. The longest I have tried to keep a bottle after opening has been a week, I will try to extend that period and see if it starts to deteriorate. A week has been perfect though. The only thing I do not like (not enough to knock a star off) is that the product looks dated. It should be sleek and modern, dark colors.

Excelente
Está muy bueno para preservar el vino. Saca el aire con la máquina de Food Saver, de lo que queda de vino en la botella y el Vino dura más en buenas condiciones.

Works as expected.
I purchased these as a Warehouse Deal for roughly half the regular price as I really do not drink enough wine to spend the full price on them, and when I do open a bottle, it is usually finished the same day. But at $9 I couldn't resist when I came across them. Like every other accessory I have purchased to go with my FoodSaver 5200, these did not disappoint. I had opened a bottle of decent red wine when making a pot of spaghetti sauce and used one of these stoppers to seal the bottle. When I opened it up to take a glass a few days later, it tasted as fresh as when it was first opened. For the fun of it, I also used one on a bottle of sake with the same excellent results. Now these are not to be used for sparkling wine of any kind as removing the pressure from that would not be beneficial to the wine, but just for the fun of it, on NY Eve, I had opened a bottle of cheap bubbly to ring out the disaster that was 2020 but did not manage to finish it on my own, so I took one of these stoppers and simply pushed it in to close the bottle up as it is impossible to squeeze the cork back in as I figured a basic stopper would be better than leaving the bottle open in the fridge. I was totally expecting to find that the remainder of the bottle had gone totally flat the next day but was pleasantly shocked to find that it had lost little of the effervescence of the night before and was still very drinkable and made for nice mimosas on New Year's Day! If you are a regular wine drinker, they are well worth the cost. If you come across them on a Warehouse Deal or other special, and you even drink wine occasionally like myself, they are still worth grabbing.

Works very well
These work very well, keeping red wine fresh for a whole week (half a glass consumed every day for about 6-7 days). I run the vacuum cycle twice to maximize the air removal. Stopper is very easy to remove.

Una buena forma de conservar el vino después de abrirlo
No tienes que terminarte la botella de vino cada vez, con esos tapones vuelves a guardar el vino restante y se conserva bien hasta un par de semanas.
