No they aren't as soft as memory foam. I found them quite hard

Are they suitable for ankle boots

It raises your foot in the shoe only by a few mm. So the issue is whether you can loosen the laces enough to accommodate this. I use them in walking boots that go over my ankle

I need arch support for football boots is it good use for sport

I use it with my trainers for running football etc so I’m sure it would be good with football boots as well but as I never used it with football boots I can’t say for 100% but for the price it’s worth a try
