Monroe Shocks & Struts Max-Air MA822 Air Shock Absorber, Pack of 2

At 62,000 miles one of the orginial air shocks was leaking. These shocks are a perfect replacement. They are not the shock with embedded electronics, just the self-leveling air shock on the 'base' suspension of a Cadillac. The top is a little larger than the stock shock, but they do not hit anything. The air connector/nipple is an exact fit. I jacked up one side, put a barrel jack under the suspension to 'unload' the shock. The top nut is in the trunk, under the 'carpet', with a rubber cover that pulls off. There are two bolts on the bottom. Very easy to remove and reinstall. The air line unclips. At this price, they are much, much less than stock shock price. The top mount is an elaborate rubber mount, and these do NOT come with a this replacement. But mine seemed in almost perfect shape and did not need replacement. I think this rubber mount can be bought for about $25 (each?) if yours has been deformed. The ride seems about the same as stock. Some comments on a replacement shock say it is much more stiff, but I feel these are about the same as stock.

EXCELENTE CALIDAD/PRECIO...

Installed these on my Caddy and they fit perfectly. Been on my car for about 6 months and are great. No issues at all. When they arrived, they looked used but I think the paint job was just poorly done. Other than that they work great. You may need a wheel alignment after installing.

2005年ドゥビル10万キロ。5年6万キロで純正がエアー漏れでACデルコ対策品に交換、乗り心地が固く悪くはないが、今回以前から気になっていた、モンローショックにしようと2度目の交換、届いた品はモンローの刻印無く残念。交換時片側がゴムが固着していて、ラバープロテクト何回も吹き付けやっと取付、その後動作は順調、しかし乗り心地は固い、やっぱり純正品が一番合っていた。残念だけど価格なりか。
