Item was defective
Did not work. Getting to the ballast on my vehicle involves separating some of panels on the wing to allow the headlight to be removed. Replacing the ballast with this one and the headlight still not working caused a lot of confusion as you naturally assume a brand new item with good ratings would actually workโฆ Replaced the xenon bulb with OEM part. Still didnโt work. Auto-electrician called out who thoroughly tested everything else that could have been causing the headlight not to work such as the control modules, and tested with light on the opposite side etc only to conclude this new ballast was faulty! Ordered an actual OEM replacement from another supplier (made by Mitsubishi Electric in the case of my vehicle - Audi A3) problem solved and headlight working again. So, buying this faulty item cost me hours of time getting to the headlight, fitting the part, putting it all back together, repeating the process two more times and having to pay an autoelectrician. Definitely would not recommend given the hassle it can cause if youโre unlucky enough to receive a faulty one.

Fixed the issue if the light not working but has now thrown up a fault on dash board and canโt remove it

Two units, one is faulty
Ordered two of these units to replace the original xenon ballasts on my Audi A6 C7 one unit seems to be working fine however one unit never ignited my new xenon bulbs. So I swapped the units from one side to the other and the fault followed the unit to the other side this a faulty unit. Not impressed had to order another so I have a matching pair.
