This a great and MUCH cheaper option to replace the battery for my Dyson Animal 7! The Dyson brand replacement battery was $100! The only minor complaint is that when you start the vacuum there’s like a minor pause and then it starts. But other than that it’s awesome! 9/14/22 UPDATED REVIEW I purchased this in November of 2021 and now 10 months later it won’t hold a charge. Truly disappointed because I was so excited to not have to spend $100 on an actual Dyson replacement battery. For that kind of money I’m just gonna buy a different vacuum.

I have a Dyson v7 animal extra cordless vacuum. I was very disappointed with the quality of the battery; it lasted less and less time. When it completely died and wouldn't accept a charge I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new unit. I did buy a corded Shark because I find it very annoying not to be able to finish vacuuming my whole house when I'm cleaning. There are times, however, when a cordless vacuum is the best option and I missed the dyson. I read a lot of reviews and decided to give this a try. It was very easy to replace the battery pack and in reading the reviews I learned some things about recharging battery packs that I hope will make this one last longer. (Letting the battery cool down before recharging the battery.) I'm happy with my purchase.

I had the vacuum for a while and the all of a sudden the battery stopped working. I did not realize that it was possible to change out the battery. So I bought another vacuum a smaller cheaper one. I was getting ready to junk the vacuum that I had when someone mentioned to me about getting a replacement battery! I am so glad I did! I vacuum my house every day and it usually last me three days on a full charge! I am so happy that I found this and if in the future this battery dies completely – with no revival I will be purchasing again

Updated review: This battery is a no go for me. Only lasted 2 months before it wouldn't charge anymore. I've conducted several tests to isolate the problem and determined it's not the vacuum, it's not the charger, it's not the surge strip, it's not the outlet, it's the cheap battery. I guess this is why the battery costs less than half of what Dyson charges. At least Dyson has the battery in stock now for me to order directly. Maybe I got a dud, maybe the majority of the positive reviews are fake or not updated. It was worth a shot, but I will not be buying this battery again. Original review: Dyson didn't have the battery in stock at the time when I needed a new battery as my original battery had died. Took a chance and ordered this after market battery and it worked great at a fraction of the price Dyson was asking for. Time will tell if this battery lasts or not. Only down side so far is that the charge port on the back of this battery is a little tight of a fit making removal from the Dyson charger wall mount a little more difficult. Power/suction and run time seem to be about the same so far.

When we received the product out of the box it worked fine initially but after 5 months of use, it just stopped working but due to the time frame can't send it back now. We now get an amber light when we tried to charge the battery. After doing some research on what an amber light means on a Dyson v7... all that was available was to reset the unit by pressing the trigger for 3 seconds 5 times or recharge for 3.5 hours(Apparently its too hot to charge???). Did both but to no avail, still no longer working. I realize a rechargeable battery won't last forever but I would expect at least a year or more before it stops working. Trying a different manufacturer to see if I get better results on the longevity of the battery. Update April 2023 - Customer Service reached out to provide a replacement. So for folks looking to contact the vendor you simply do so via the Amazon communication process that is in place for Kunlun. It wasn't 100% clear initially how to obtain support but I do have to admit it is pretty good therefore I upgraded my rating to 4 stars and here is why. The Battery works, but I did have to go thru some hassle of contacting and getting a replacement, while great support from the vendor does exists... still shows the quality control of the product may not be 100%. You may get lucky with a good batch and have no issues but some portions of this product may end up with defects like me and apparently some others from what I've read. Update May 1st 2023 I just received the replacement so overall a working product from a reliable vendor but some of the new orders may have defects and you just need to be aware to contact the vendor for support or a replacement and because your not left out on an island with no where to go that does mean a lot to me therefore I would put this product on the buy again list for me but more due to the support they provided.

My original review (Early August): It worked great for a couple months and then nothing. Tested everything. The battery registered 0.06V and would not charge. This was a highly rated battery from many reviewers. Maybe I just got the bad pack? Will never know, moving on and trying a different brand... Updated (8/21/22): I think I just got unlucky (it happens to all products/manufacturers), but fantastic customer service and a warranty I didn't know existed changed my rating. I didn't realize that this battery comes with a 12 month warranty. I guess Kunlun monitors the Amazon reviews because they reached out to me about the problem I was having and offered to replace it. Less than a week later I had a replacement battery on the charger. They were super responsive and very easy to work with. The new battery is working great and I really appreciate the Kunlun support. Will update again if there are any future issues, but very satisfied with the outcome/resolution.

Tried to replace the battery in a cordless stick vacuum with a manufacturer battery and it was 120$. So glad I tried this one- it’s a gem! This battery charges more quickly than the expensive battery and I can vacuum much longer than the one that came with my vacuum when I bought it. It looks exactly the same, but this one has more of whatever 4.0 Ah refers to. I used to try to save battery by using the low setting on the vacuum, but with this battery I can satisfy my need for clean on high whenever I vacuum. It uses the same charging cord as the manufacturer batt. The ONLY thing I can caution is that it does NOT come with the 3 little screws you need to secure it to the handheld part of the vacuum. ( that’s why 4 stars there- but it’s simple to do with a mini screwdriver) You’ll need to keep the original screws from your old batt! Not a big deal- just a reminder. I’ve had it for a few weeks and all is well. I’ll update on length of batt life when it’s a bit older… I dont know why anyone would pay the Dyson replacement cost. If you’re not sure, try it- I promise you’ll be so glad you did!

It has just arrived but I was able to replace the old battery in 5 minutes. It was very easy and fast. This is the second time that I replaced the battery of my 5 year old Dyson V7. The battery was charged, I tested the vacuum cleaner (did some vacuuming) and works great. I guess the jury is still out. Now it is on the charger. The previous battery was also not original Dyson, not the same manufacturer but similar to this one and had a relatively long life. My expectation is about 1-2 year. I’m a heavy user as I have a cat. I hope my review helps you to make a decision. I think this is a decent product.

Haben den neuen Akku seit zwei Jahr im Betrieb. Die Leitung war bisher super. (Halten uns auch sehr an den Vorgaben, wie nicht gleich nach Gebrauch an Ladestation) Dann nach zwei Jahren von 0 auf 100 tot. Der Akku hat komplett versagt, hat nicht mehr geladen. Es ging nichts mehr
