I bought this about 8 months ago and just had to replace the latch mechanism. Fortunately they sent extras with the original order, so this must happen often. The broken one got pushed too far down and would no longer spring. It was very difficult to get the broken one out, but easy enough to install a new one. So I would advise you to use the slightest touch when you open and close this, don't push hard. Beyond that, it is still my favorite small trash bin ever. It's so easy to empty and replace the grocery store bags as liners, and it looks good, too. I took off a couple of stars for durability just because of the latch, but otherwise this is totally a 5-star product. I have three, and will continue to use them because I like them so much, but will be a little more careful going forward.

I saw the IEEK 12 Liter Rectangular Plastic Trash Can on a YouTube video and thought it looked more attractive than other bins I have used. I used the shared link and bought one to try. It's actually a great trash bin for my bathroom! The lid opens and closes very smoothly. I like its the design for several reasons. I like that the bag folds over quite a bit, making it easy to put on and remove. I like that the bag is entirely hidden by the full top over-cover and held in place well. The shape is super. Because its slim it fits between the sink and toilet with a lot of extra space and it's not a big round or square odd open eye-soar. It surprisingly holds more than I expected. It holds as much as any other bathroom waste can I have used. I like that the lid is not foot operated and there is no clank closing noise. Basically, it's sleek, clean, quiet and easy to use. I am happy with it and will buy a couple more for my home.

I love this sleek design. The trash can is in all of our bathrooms. It hold quite a bit. I love that it has a lid. It keeps pur dogs out of it.

I wrote a review of this when I bought the first one four months ago, but forgot to hit "submit" lol. Found it still there when I came to write this one, so here it is: "This little trash can is perfect -- brilliant design, with the lid part a separate unit that slips over the can. At my place it fits on the counter top next to the refrigerator and close to the sink so easy to toss in scraps. Only worry is how long the top will keep working. It includes a second plastic latch which suggests to me maybe they don't last very long and you can't get additional ones but at this price, who cares? Once they both wear out I'll just order another unit. Ordered at Amazon some rolls of small plastic liners as grocery ones really don't fit. Could not be happier." Well, it didn't last. One of the little pegs that hold the lid on broke and it wasn't dropped or anything. It just gave up. So you might wonder why I bought this again. For the reasons above -- the design is just so cool. Fingers crossed I get more than four months use from this one. Update: The same thing happened. The peg broke on this one too. Just ordered something similar but I hope not as fragile as these are. Too bad because, as I mentioned before, the design is so good but it's just not well executed.

Small and very convenient. Easy to empty out, you just remove the top and pull out the garbage bag.

I was pleasantly surprised with this slim trash can. The top slides off, you install a clean trash bag, slide the top back on and the trash stays secure and does not slide down. It is small but the oblong shape allows for a lot of trash and it opens and closes with the slightest tap. Fits between my toilet and vanity perfectly. I love this trash can.

This is not completely advertised correctly. It appears in the pic as the trash can sitting as one piece. But it isn’t. The top cover does not attach to the bottom white plastic floor piece. So basically you have a white floor frame with a black rect can and the a shell with a lid that slides over top but doesn’t go all the way to the bottom. It basically sits on top of the black can which keeps it from going on the way down so it isn’t “attached”. You can’t pick it up and move as one trash can. You have to pick up multiple pieces - def not worth $25 and honestly looks worse as many times it will get bumped or touched and the top ring with lid topples over exposing the black rectangular trash like receptacle sitting in the plastic base at bottom - that is if it doesn’t get knocked over too.

This is such a cute little garbage can, I LOVE it for our small bathroom. It doesn’t take up any extra space and it looks so nice and clean. The lid opens very easily, my only complaint is that with the back next to the wall it opens pretty forcefully and the lid hits the wall unless you hold it from doing so. It is the perfect size if you want to reuse your plastic grocery bags for garbage. I was pleasantly surprised that it fits a lot more garbage than I initially thought. Also I just love that the top shell slides right off when you are replacing the bags. It is very easy to use, change the garbage bags, and to clean. It’s not tippy at all because of the way that the base is shaped. Just a very satisfying purchase in my opinion:)

I really like the design of this bin. Easy to place the bag in and put the lid over it without fussing over the bag sticking out! Great design!

The bin I got isn’t divided in two segments but it’s better as just one I think. It’s all around a very good and functional bin for the bathroom and I think it looks really nice. In my opinion it’s better than a bin with a sensor to open as its design is much simpler and therefore cleaner
