Multi-function player exceeds expectations
My old CD player/radio was getting long in the tooth. The radio reception was degrading and it had a huge counter footprint. Finally, it had no Bluetooth capacity. My wife was okay swapping out CDs, but I have long since moved to Spotify for my music. I decided to try a new, smaller footprint player with Bluetooth, but I needed to keep the radio and CD capabilities for my wife. I also didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. My wife isn't much of a audiophile and the sound quality for her isn't an issue. I just don't use the Bluetooth in the kitchen very often. I decided to take a stab at this player. The price was good and it had all the functionality I wanted. I figured if things went south, I was only out $45. As it turns out, the device exceeds my expectations. All the functionality works as advertised. Installation is dirt simple; remote works cleanly and easily; Bluetooth connection for my Note9 worked seamlessly; sound quality is more than acceptable. Even sitting on its easel-like stand, it takes up less than half the former counter space. If that gets annoying, I always have the option of attaching the device to the wall and eliminating any counter footprint. As for quibbles, I was thrown at first by the on-off switch. There is none. You turn on the device via the remote or by pulling the cord. I have also noticed a BONK sound when I try to turn the volume very high using the remote in Bluetooth mode. Easy enough to avoid, just turn up the volume on the Bluetooth-origin device -- in this case, my phone. In fact, the biggest issue I have thus far is remembering to bring my phone into the kitchen when I'm doing the dishes. That's an old person issue, and no fault of the Three Ducks Direct player. The clincher for me, however, is the customer service. When I thought there was a defect in the player, I contacted Three Ducks and they responded immediately. We worked through my perceived problem quickly and completely. I could be more satisfied that this group cares deeply about their customers and is willing to go the extra mile. Great product. Great service. Fully recommended.

Good Looks and Sounds Great
Let me warn you, this is not your mother's cd player, so be ready to be impressed. The continuously round speaker provides amazing listening, whether it's a cd or the radio. Yep, thaaaaat's right AM and FM, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA, and it supports CD playback, Bluetooth, USB, TF card, AUX input and 3.5mm Audio input/output jack, time, yes, it has a digital clock, then throw in the remote control, it's the listening dream. Hang it on the wall or set it flat on a shelf, the bracket comes with it to wall mount. Working from home, I needed something to listen to and to my surprise, every single cd player in the house no longer worked, so I found this utterly stylish piece that fits my new home office deco. When I showed it to my spouse and friends and let them listen to the sound it produced then listing to the list of what it actually does with the blue tooth, usb, etcI, they vowed to steal it, said, "No go to Amazon and buy your own." LOVE LOVE LOVE this player!!!! Sorry the pics are a little dark, I wanted to get this in and work starts early. I'll update with afternoon pics. You will love this as much as I do. Great price and great product.

Nice, small CD player
We still rely some on hard media and this is compact CD player has decent sound. It allows input via a patch cord, usb or bluetooth, and is an FM radio. The remote is handy since this unit is really designed to be hung on a wall. The controls on the unit are on the rim and the top of the player. If mounted on a wall the controls would not be accessible unless you mounted it no more than 4' from the floor. There is a stand that can be used to hold the player on a counter top, but its design seems an afterthought. The player is so light that it's easily dislodged from the stand if you try to use the manual controls. However, all in all, this seems to be a pretty good value for the modest cost.

Sweet little CD player
I am very happy with this purchase. I tried the tripod that came with it, but didn't like it. It felt too light and my rambunctious kitten could easily dump it on the floor. I decided to mount it on the wall, by my bed. I eschewed the screws and used removable super tape and used that to attach the bracket to the wall. The unit easily slips in and out, but is secure and safe. The sound quality is fine for the size. It's actually better than another CD player that I use in the kitchen. So, at about half the price this one delivers what I need. The remote is well laid out, makes sense and does what it says on the tin. USB, BluTooth, and FM all work as advertised. One interesting thing happened when my rambunctious kitten did finally see it on the wall. The disc was playing (spinning) and he ran over to it and checked it out. Of course, being a kitten, that included touching it, which stopped the spinning of the disc. It came right back up to speed and played fine. Luckily, once he figured it out he has ignored it. Perhaps, in version three, the manufacturer could provide (included or as an upgrade) a clear cover that can slip over the unit (while not obstructing the speakers). My favorite, but trivial, part of the design is the on/off switch: just a light tug on the cord.

A lot of sound for the money
I bought this CD player after having worn out two previous portable CD players. I was intrigued by the design and built-in speakers, so, the price being relatively low, I gave it a try. I have to say it really exceeded my expectations. First, the sound quality is far above what I experienced with the portable CD players and external portable speakers I used to use. This player has big sound and pretty good fidelity. I've listened to CDs with OTR radio programs as well as music CDs, and while it isn't on par with an expensive component system or a Bose Wave Radio, it's still a lot for the price. I also like the wall-mount bracket because it allows you to hang the player on the wall where it's safely out of harm's way. The remote control is a nice plus, allowing you to pause or replay from your armchair. The only thing I wish it had is some kind of dust cover, but that's a small quibble. This player seems well-made and is easy to operate. It's a bargain at the price, and I'm considering buying a second one for another room.

Perfect for my farm-style house!
I am in my 40's and have a zillion CDs and I can access most music on my other devices, but some I cannot. We don't have a CD player but I didn't want one that was too big, because I may not use it that often, and they are ugly. This seemed perfect since I could mount it on the wall and it be completely out of the was but simple and clean enough to go with the decor. I did so in my sewing room. This is where I want to listen to stuff anyway. I was so excited to know it was compatable with my phone's Bluetooth and that I could plug in anything with a USB. SUPER VERSITILE. I like the ease of sliding it on and off the wall if I want to move it. The sound quality if the CD and the Bluetooth are the same. I can listen to my audio books stored on my phone and my music that is only found on my old CD's. I like the blue tooth option. The speaker is so much better than my phone's (galaxy S10) I love having a remote. I mounted it on the wall almost where the door, if open, would cover half of it. It is totally out of the way but the sound is not muffled at all.. It is eve level and I can sit at my sewing machine and use the remote to change it if I'm in the middle of something. Thanks for a fun, sleek, clean, modern music option for me!!!

I just wanted a cheap radio to play CD's to go to sleep to. That's what I got, and it's horrible.
All I needed was a CD Player that would play a CD all the way through, and then stop. I bought this because it was inexpensive and it looked cool. I tried to figure out how to work it but the remote didn't have batteries, despite the instruction manual referring to the batteries that come with the remote. I finally figured out that you have to pull the cord to turn it on, which is weird, and leads to potential problems if, like me, you're not planing on mounting it on the wall. I played a CD and the sound quality is horrible. It's very tinny. The first night I tried using it to go to sleep to I figured out that it doesn't stop at the end of the CD, it just keeps playing. The next day I read up a little more and found out that it does have a sleep timer, which was fine with me. Except that in the instruction manual they dedicate exactly one sentence to the sleep function. "After pressing the sleep button, the sleep function is activated, the main display light is off, and then press again to resume." How long does the sleep function last? Can I set it to go off at a certain time? Or after a certain amount of time? Can I set it and, if so, how? It was only after coming back to this page that I found the instructions from one of the sellers. However, I still didn't get an answer to "Am I setting it for a time, or an amount of time?" I had to figure that out on my own through trial and error. By the way, it's the time you want it to shut off. So, last night I go to bed about about midnight. I pop in a CD, and set the timer to stop playing at 1:30. I hit play on the remote, it played the first song. Then there was a really long pause. Then it played the first song again. I thought that maybe I had hit the repeat button by accident, so I figured if I hit it again, it would turn it off. I did, and then I hit next to play the second song. It paused for a really long time and then played the first song again. So I get out of bed to try and fix it on the actual radio. The repeat light wasn't on. I turned it off and on to try and reset it. I hit play, and it started playing the first song. I hit next, it scrolled through all of the other songs, not playing any of them, and played the first song again. It was getting kind of late and I was really tired, so I figured I would just let it play and deal with it in the morning. So I made sure that the sleep timer was still set to to go off after an hour and a half, and got back into bed. About three hours later I got up to use the bathroom and it was still playing...the first song. At that point I just turned it off. This radio is a cheap piece of crap, that sounds horrible. But hey, it looks cool. If I could give it less than one star, I would.

Very eye catching and appealing
Out of the box, the unit looked very appealing. Easy to use and the simplicity of it makes it that much more appealing to use over and over. I love the open face disc design where you see the whole CD spin. I bought it for my daughter so that she can listen to drum samples as she practices on her drum set. I mounted it on the wall just behind her so she can connect to it via bluetooth and choose the drum samples and beats to practice. I, as a Gen Xer, use it for my CDs. Speaking of wall mounting, the wall mount base is a solid piece, very sturdy and a flawless fit for the player to mount on. I know that many of us Gen X, Xennials, and Gen Y still have a big CD collection, don't lie!, LOL. But yes I have dusted off some of my CD binders just to sit and listen to my CDs. If you still have your CD collection and want a very portable, easy to use, easy to mount, and a small footprint then buy this unit.

No CD Cover
What I disliked is that it did not come with a CD cover and thus one of the reason why we returned it, the 2nd reason is we found out that we paid twice the amount other people paid for it, so we got another one from a different seller/company at Less than half the price and it came with a Cover, all the rest was just as good.
