Lowa Schuhe Renegade GTX Mid

Absolutely love Lowa Zephyr boots! Wanted to get the Gore Tex (GTX) version for colder and wetter climates. They’re incredibly well built, and with good care, you can get at least 18-24 months use. I wear mine pretty much daily. Once the weather improves I’ll switch to the non-GTX Lowa Zephyr. The coyote colour is really great, it’s light brown and doesn’t show dirt as quickly as the desert/sand coloured boots. Arrived within 4-5 days. I wasn’t in a rush, but I’m happy with that delivery window. I wasn’t sure if the seller had my size so I contacted them and they got back to me within 24 hours. I’d happily order again. For those folks out there that love their Lowa Zephyr boots, it’s a real pain to find a decent seller and the correct size. Takes a short while to break the boots in (1-2 weeks), but they’re incredibly comfortable out of the box. For anyone on ops, please give it at least 4-6 weeks to break the boots in and you shouldn’t have any hot spots.

My wife loves them! Bought partly to counter her plantar fasciitis, they are super lightweight, supportive and comfortable. Sole inserts are removable so we've been able to put in inserts with firmer arch support. And somewhere we found a youtube video which gave a great tip for lacing... Before you tighten up the hooks, first tighten the shoe part as usual, then do the first part of a knot by doing the twist, maybe 2 or 3 even, then continue to do up the hooks, leaving enough space to insert a finger. The twists stop the shoe coming loose, and the slight slack above stops irritation on the Achilles area.

Great Botts this will be my 4th pair, value for money. I would recommend to anyone, very comfortable.

Hands down, the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, straight out of the box. Recreationally, I walk long distances, averaging 25km a day. I've been searching for the Holy Grail of boot heaven, in vain, for years.... They come in regular, wide and narrow width (wide: add 7mm; narrow: subtract 5mm) - in the UK (I think) it's only possible to buy the regular size. On the 'shoe fitting gauge' I'm bang on 9UK (reg. width) - so, 10UK reg. fit perfectly with room, crucially, to wiggle toes in ample toe box. It would be great if LOWA did a synthetic version! They do have a lot of stitching and seams, so boot care is a must... Once I've clocked up 1,000km (hopefully) I will revert here with further thoughts...

Awesome boots - lightweight, supportive, comfortable and rugged. Perfect combat / trekking boot in temperate/warmer climates - Goretex keeps you dry.

Great product, second pair purchased for husband. Light and comfortable good colour option. Small fault of missed stitching on one triangle detail but he wouldn't take them off for me to exchange!

Great Boot, fits like a glove. I've only worn them around the house since receiving them and have yet to take them up the mountains - but that will all be sorted when I visit the Dingle Peninsula in the next few days. :-)

I accomplished a 26 km hike across Dartmoor in winter they were comfortable. .waterproof..light..supportive.. there would be no better test for them I am very happy with these boots and highly recommend them. FIT FOR PURPOSE

This is the second pair I've owned of Lowa's Women's Renegade GTX Mid Hiking Boot and I will definitely buy more in the future. It has a wide box so that my toes don't feel crushed, yet I have very good control when going downhill on rough New Hampshire mountain trails. They are extremely comfortable and long wearing. My first pair lasted over ten years, and I still wear them, but I had to re-glue the sole after all of this time and constant use. That was the only thing that wore out. They've improved the design in that the bottom hooks are "closed-end" so the lace can't slip off the hook. They've gone up a lot in price since my first pair, but I think they are worth the money because of how comfortable and durable they have been.

First bought in Germany and knew I would never buy a different brand. Top quality throughout. They recommend using wooden shoe trees to maintain the shape and structure of the boot as they can resole them to like new. Very sturdy and very comfortable. I am between 10 1/2 & 11 and 44 European is a perfect fit. Yes a little pricey and shipping was $35 and yes took 2 weeks to get here but you won’t care when you put them on.

Ich habe die Wanderstiefel nicht eingelaufen sondern bin stattdessen gleich eine knappe Woche ins Weserbergland zum Wandern gefahren. Zu keiner Zeit hatte ich das Gefühl, neue Stiefel zu tragen. Einfach toll....so hatte ich es mir gewünscht. Dazu sind die Stiefel leicht (okay, das waren die "alten" auch) und sehen auch recht zierlich aus. Ich weiß schon aus mehreren Erfahrungsberichten - auch innerhalb der Community meiner WanderApp - das LOWA eine sehr gute Marke für Outdoor Schuhwerk ist. Jetzt kann ich das durch die gemachte Erfahrung nur bestätigen. Der Preis wird sich auf Dauer gelohnt haben, denn günstig sind die LOWAs nicht gerade. Jetzt, nach einem knappen Jahr hatte ich auf der letzten Wanderung plötzlich total nasse Füße. Lowa beschreibt die Stiefel als wasserdicht, was Dank der Membran Technologie auch möglich ist. Ich habe den Verkäufer vor 2 Wochen kontaktiert, da ja die Gewährleistung noch läuft. Bisher habe ich keine Antwort bekommen, und deshalb heute AMAZON kontaktiert. Die wollen sich nun kümmern. Je nachdem, wie sich die Sache weiter gestaltet, werde ich meine Rezension noch vervollständigen. Vervollständigung: gestern mit AMAZON telefoniert, heute Morgen hatte ich bereits eine Nachricht des Verkäufers im Postfach. Ich kann die Stiefel jetzt zurückschicken. Die Reklamation wird vom Hersteller geprüft werden. Die Abwicklung der Retoure einschl. Weiterleitung an DHL und QR-Code für eine kostenfreie Rücksendung waren äußerst komfortabel zu handhaben. So soll es sein....ich bin sehr zufrieden und hoffe nun, dass der Hersteller die Reklamation anerkennt. Verlasse mich da aber auf deren Möglichkeiten, den Mangel und den Grund der Undichtigkeit fachgerecht zu prüfen. Noch eine Ergänzung: den kompletten Kaufbetrag bekam ich einige Wochen später vom Verkäufer gutgeschrieben. Mein nächster LOWA war die Marke TAURUS. Diese habe ich Anfang Dezember 2021 eine Woche lang im Hunsrück zum Wandern getragen. Schon nach wenigen Tagen hatte ich wieder dasselbe Problem: die Schuhe ließen Nässe durch. Es hatte nicht geregnet und ich habe auch keinen Bach durchquert. Ein relativ kurzer Wiesenweg, der im Herbst und Winter natürlich immer Nässe aufweist, reichte schon, um mir wieder nasse Füße zu bescheren. Nach der Wanderwoche habe ich die Schuhe wieder eingeschickt und dieses mal nach knapp 10 Tagen schon die Erstattung auf meinem Konto gehabt. Nun überlege ich, ob ich mir jemals wieder LOWAs kaufe.
