This foam fits my Tascam portacapture X8 perfectly.

Fits xy zoom
Item as described. Haven’t yet used while recording. Fits the hp6essential zoom recorder xy mics snuggly and secures my outer wind deadcat screen by Gutmann perfectly. Without it the Gutmann screen was very loose And could easily blow off in big wind. Definitely good purchase for my needs.

Great Windscreen for Your H6
The windscreen arrived pressed into an envelope. After cutting it loose from the cellophane envelope in a paper envelope as it arrived. Upon inspection I found the foam windscreen to be deformed and squished out of shape. I used a steam iron on it and brought it back to original shape. Took about 5 minutes.....Now It fits my H6 perfectly. Good foam windscreen!

Not as describe
If you buy this thinking that it will look like in the pictures, you are wrong. It comes all flat and deformed.

Nice!
I bought this to replace the original that came with the Zoom H6 2020 black edition. I lost the original foam windscreen some how. This fits perfectly! I am using it with the deadcat wind filter for the H6 and this has the same dimensions and fit snug as a bug!

Will arrive flat but need to wait for it to expand.
This item came in what I assume to be a vacuum sealed plastic wrap. It is very flat and look’s nothing like the original product image. I will wait 2 days to see if it rises; if it does I will update this review. EDIT: Revised my review from 1 to 5. The foam expands once left outside of the wrap.

I have two recordings in the same environment on the same day, one using the windscreen, and one not using it, and the windscreen works phenomenally!

Lo logré “reparar” y funcionó bien
A pesar de que el producto llegó en “buen estado” me tocó repararlo ya que al ser enviado comprimido su forma se desfiguró y lo logré regresar a su forma original con una plancha de vapor, ya que si no hubiese sido porque tenía una, tendría que haberlo devuelto…
