PUMA Men's 6 Pack Quarter Crew Socks

I got these for my husband for Christmas. He says that they’re very comfortable and not super tight around his ankle. He says they’re very soft, they haven’t shrunk in the washer any or dryer. They also have not lost their color yet so that’s great.

These quarter socks are comfortable, washable, durable and the color doesn’t bleed. They are moisture wicking overall I would buy these again.

Good sox for the price - although after I bought them I saw the same Puma socks offered at Costco for less. Others I've purchased from Amazon have worn fairly quickly in the sole and heel. So far, so good with these Puma socks...hopefully they hold up longet than a few weeks!!

My husband's FAVORITE socks. He talks about these socks in regular, daily conversations. He praises the elastic around the ankle, not too loose, not too tight. They last a long time before holes inevitable show up. His one complaint is that he loses them (no fault of the product). Will be buying more soon.

So my wife was using my old socks as a coffee filter—wait, I should explain that sentence. In these times of the ‘rona, sometimes you have to make due. To my wife, her need for morning caffeine and lack of available filters called for some ingenuity. She grabbed one of my old Puma socks and wrapped it over the coffee maker’s percolation cistern, piled coffee on top and let it rip, “ew.” I said walking into the kitchen seeing this contraption that reeked of desperation, and possible addiction. But it got me thinking: how old are those socks? Running through some mental math, thinking back to a time when my wife and I were dating and the concept of her drinking sock coffee was a mental impossibility, I realized my Puma ankle socks were nearly eight years old. I should probably replace those socks, I thought, though they were mostly in fine shape, excepting the single sock my wife co-opted for her morning caffeination. No holes after 8 years, the elastic still mostly functional. Nevertheless I ordered this pack which appeared mostly the same as my old friends. And what do you know, they ARE very close to the same. Similar fabric and stitching. Slight aesthetic differences, but by and large, every bit as good as the socks that had lasted the better part of a decade. They’re comfortable, functional, and obscenely durable. You can’t go wrong with these, they’re great socks, and if the apocalypse happens, there’s a solid chance you can use these to filter your drinking water. Or coffee at least.

I'm not going into the whole story about every brand of socks I've tried throughout my life but these definitely are worthy of a longer and more detailed review. I will say my go-to brand before these were Joe boxer padded quarter socks for work and I had a different style lower cut just for around town. The Joe boxer padded socks I mainly wore for a fast paced highly physical job started to wear down as normal for the condition they were under. Funny they never really shrunk just expanded in size becoming thinner, looser with holes. Thanks to many Kmarts where I purchased these socks from going out of business they were extremely hard to find. I tried another brand and just ended up throwing the pack away vs a refund as they were purchased online. I had tried many other brands before Joe boxer that didn't hold up or were uncomfortable. I came across these socks and have owned puma shoes before. I liked all the built-in features like arch support, padding on the bottom of the sock where it counts as well as the upper part being well ventilated and the toe seam on the inner sock feeling non-existent vs many other brands and you know what I'm talking about, feels like where the toe is stitched there is a excess amount of material you can feel especially when it agitates the top of your toes. Under heavy stress from working at general motors, rigorous walking back and forth they took quite a while to break down. They fit perfectly and vs the other brands even hold their size after multiple washes. A extra added bonus is unlike all the other brands after wearing for a day I experienced ZERO lint between my toes or on my feet! I just purchased another pack as finally around at least 6-7 months the first pack out of two I bought started getting holes (keep in mind I'm on my feet for 8 to 9 hours a day averaging no less than 7 miles of walking). If you're looking for a comfortable, long lasting and stylish sock these are definitely the socks for you. One thing I forgot to mention is the options when it comes to sizing, other socks like Joe boxer for an example only offered size 8-12 I believe. I wear a size 12 shoe and these socks offer a better size range. Now since many Amazon reviews on some products combine all the reviews for different styles or colors the socks I'm referring to are the gray and white with a black puma logo on the top of the toe and a puma on the back of the heel . Also you get six pair with other socks I have purchased in the past usually a six pack gets you three pair.

Excellent quality and very comfy perfect size - just be careful removing the plastic tags that bunch the socks together as they can cause holes.
