I bought this on a whim and it was a great decision! First of all, it's not as big as I expected, which was a good thing, because I thought it would take up too much counter space, but it doesn't. For reference, you can make like 2 large pancakes on each pan at one time (4 in total), or 3 smaller ones. I also love that the griddle pans are removable and dishwasher safe, which make the cleaning process so much easier than similar pans I've had in the past. Oh, and it's awesome that they also come with drip cups for any oil or residue that accumulates on the pan, which has a little drain on one side. Overall, it cooks well, is the right size, and has little features that make it worth the purchase. Definitely recommend!

So happy with this griddle! Where to start...love that it is two ways to cook in one. That’s why we bought it. So far we’ve grilled chicken, cooks on both sides, even and fast. Easier and no flipping. Saved time and was delicious. We also used it as a open flat griddle, pancakes and sausages, cooking on both sides simultaneously. Pancakes didn’t stick, East to flip. I appreciate that it’s nonstick and also comes apart for easy cleaning...the griddle plates can even go into the dishwasher. I found this to be just what I expected and more, reasonably priced. Good quality. I would highly recommend.

It’s a good griddle but not the best one I’ve ever had. It takes a long time to heat up, but once it gets hot it does a good job of cooking. I especially like the searing temperature setting. However, one issue I have with it is that it’s so heavy, and when I want to cook a sandwich and use the press method, the sandwich gets very squished. That issue is easy to fix though- I just wouldn’t use the press method. It’s very easy to clean and has a great nonstick surface. Overall, it’s a great griddle.

1000 precent better than a George Foreman grill, sorry George. I've read other reviews, some negative, just do not set to the highest heat setting. I've used and abused mine, still looks new. And no coating that rubs off. Highly recomend.

UPDATE: For the first few uses it seemed somewhat like non-stick, but I assure you, it is NOT NON-STICK! We've tried butter, vegetable oil, Crisco, etc. over the past year in every case food STICKS to the griddle plates... After reading reviews, it is my firm belief most of the favorable reviews are FAKE! PLATES: The removable plates are only coated on 1 side. The non-exposed sides are bare aluminum which I don't recommend putting in dishwashers. Edges on the uncoated side can be a little sharp, so be cautious when handling or hand washing the plates. They should have coated the entire plate... The plates remove easily from the unit with the touch of mechanical buttons located on the right side. (One button for each plate.) Putting the plates back into the unit only took a couple attempts to master. DIAL: The dial does not have an OFF setting. WHY??? It has low, medium, high & sear setting. We like our Ribeye well done, so we set the dial slightly past high. (It takes about 9 and a half to 10 minutes to cook a Ribeye after the unit has fully pre-heated. For comparison, other more powerful griddles we own take 7 and a half minutes.) Another words it isn't particularly powerful. Lights: Each of the lights are dim and only light a half of what they should. Cord: Cord length is obnoxiously short at 33 and a half inches. OVERALL: We bought this during Prime Days for about $28 and though it is NOT nonstick we will likely keep the unit. There aren't many choices for griddles with removable plates for 2 servings, most are for 4-6 servings. With minor improvements to the lights, dial, plates and cord length this could have been an ideal griddle for two. One important thing to note; we didn't notice an excessive amount of grease spatter escaping around the edges of the unit. The Blue Diamond Griddle is a mediocre griddle that will get the job done. Only worth getting if it is on sale at a price point near or under $35.00.

We received our New Blue Diamond Griddle, this past weekend. I have to admit I was a little skeptical after removing it from the box. It was so light weight, that I was a little leery of the quality. WRONG!! First off it performed beautifully! The griddle surfaces had even heat. The settings are easy to follow. The griddle plates snap in and out easily for easy cleaning! And the weight, that I was so leery of? It slips in and out of my cabinet without any wrestling around! The only down side, which is not a deal breaker in my book, is that there is no On/Off switch. Starts heating the minute you plug it in, and does not turn off until you unplug it!

If you're a truck driver with at least a 1500 watt power inverter you gotta get one of these!!!! No mess now to cook any kinda meat. The plates are really smooth and I wipe mine off with a paper towel, cleans up easy!

ANOTHER UPDATE, another star lost I don’t understand why my blue diamond pans hold up so well and are so easy to clean, and the grill requires such effort to clean. My theory is that I use medium heat or lower with my pans, and the grill may get hotter than that. I don’t see her anymore because it really gets difficult to clean (since it’s nonstick I can’t use any abrasive) At this point, I am no longer spending time to clean it thoroughly because, well I really don’t want to spend my time doing that and it is looking like a seasoned cast-iron pan and that kind of works. Also, it has become a bit wobbly, still works though. UPDATE, looses a star While I don’t expect nonstick to not have things stick to it all the time, I do expect it to be easy to clean up, last night, some burnt cheese on a grill plate, surprisingly proved to be difficult to clean. Unlike my blue diamond frying pan, I noticed the grill plates have a slight built up, sort of like the a haze. Tried soaking in vinegar, but it still is not as easy to clean as the frying pan. Original review… I have a Blue Diamond pan, and don't want any PFAs, so when I found this looking at a quick way to cook outside (keep the home from smelling like burgers!) It heats up quickly It heats up hot - it sears fairly easy to clean can handle heat better than other non-sticks simple and easy controls. Easy to store (kept one piece of packing Styrofoam to put it upright) Only bought the flat grill - works for me This is a six star product in my book - good value too!

Me agrado, su construccion se me hace un poco fragil, pero el hecho que se puedan quitar las parrillas para poderlas lavar es muy util. Otra cosa que me gusto es que se puede abril en 180 grados y se convierte en 2 planchas para cocinar. Bastante buen relacion costo beneficio

This is a great product but missing two key things. First of all it needs an on/off button. Unplugging is not the greatest and easy to forget. The second thing is that because the surface is so slippy you need to use your hands to bring the lid down properly in a vertical position. This will burn you (like it burned me) so don't do it. Could be a simple fix of having some sort of silicon bar on the top so you can use the handle and your hands to lower the top properly. If it had those two things i would give it 5 stars. but not a bad little sandwich warmer.
