Good clamps but need a wider "foot" to stay more stable.

I purchased these (I bought two) and put them on two 5 foot sections of pipe. I bought a 10 foot section of pipe that was threaded on both ends and simply cut it in half since only one end needs to be threaded. You can use any length you want though. They are very heavy (which is something to consider) and made beautifully. The construction is such that you can leave your project on the floor (or table) and still screw down the crank. They are easy to adjust to the length you want them to be and will last a lifetime I'm sure (probably more) if cared for. Buy quality and you will not be disappointed!

These clamps are super easy to use. Just get yourself a 3/4" threaded pipe and you're good to go. Super solid construction and stable for quality glue-ups. Will be buying more of these for sure!

A good item and very strong. Finish and quality is very good. I like the protective jaws too, which don't always come with other brands. For any DIY or tradesman woodworker, they are highly recommended.

they tighten down with great force, you can clamp on long distances and they seem to be fairly good at resisting harsh storage conditions, which is a plus

Solid, well made pipe clamps. Like that the crank end is threaded for a nice stable clamp. Great for the average man...me too!
