The EasySMX 2.4G Wireless Gaming Controller exceeded my expectations. Setup was truly plug-and-play on my Windows PC and Steam Deck, and the wireless connection has been stable with no noticeable lag during gameplay.The controller feels comfortable in the hands, even during long gaming sessions, and the buttons and joysticks are responsive and smooth. The dual vibration adds a great immersive feel, and the 4 back paddles are a fantastic bonus for customizable controls in competitive games.Battery life is also impressive — I was able to game for hours without constantly worrying about recharging. The build quality feels solid and much more premium than expected for the price point.Overall, this is an amazing value for anyone looking for a versatile wireless controller for PC, Steam Deck, PS3, or Android TV gaming. This has honestly been one of the best controllers I think I have ever used. It feels good and works perfectly. I don’t know about their other ones that are newer and flashier, but this one has everything I could want and the price for the quality is probably unbeatable. I’ve had it for years now I think, and it’s time I give it the 5 stars it deserves

Good price and works well. I bought this controller to play certain PC games on Steam. I had an issue with the button mapping where the controller was being detected as a Nintendo Switch controller (which it is not) and the face buttons (Y, X, A and B) were being swapped. A and B were swapped and Y and X were swapped. This occurred because the controller was not in the correct MODE. While this issue occurred, the top row of LED lights were lit. To function correctly on Steam, the top and bottom row of LED lights need to be lit. However, neither pressing nor pressing and holding the MODE button changed the controller's mode.Here's the fix:1) turn off the controller by holding down the HOME button, then unplug the USB adapter from your computer.2) Next, press the HOME button to turn on the controller and plug the USB adapter back into the computer.Doing this caused the first and last row of LED lights on the controller to light up and fixed the mapping for the face buttons. Now, the A button is the A button, the B button is the B button (and so on), and the controller works correctly.

UPDATE: 7/16/2024: now at 2 years. I own 2 of them and they both work like they are new no button issues or stick drift whatsoever . These are the only controllers I will buy unless they start cutting corners and their quality and durability falls.As far as I am concerned all other brand name controllers are a joke compared to this company. Plus the programmable rear buttons on the fly I use them all the time.Only thing I would change is having several profiles swappable directly from the controller. Strictly for saving the rear paddle assignments to use on different games. Maybe a toggle switch on the rear of the controllerUPDATE: 1/19/23 (APPROX 6 months)Thing still works just as well as the first day I purchased it. No stick drift, no broken components. Keeps a charge for quite a while. Usually charge every 2-3 days of heavy gaming.I would like to see another version of this with slightly larger rear rocker buttons and maybe 2 more programmable buttons as well. Either rear or shoulder like the Razer Wolverine.Let me preface this by saying I own- Razer Wolverine V2 (bad stick drift, limited and bad programming software surprisingly)- Xbox Elite V2 - Feels like it should be the sturdiest controller I have ever owned, but the internal components are complete garbage. I have owned 3 (yes THREE) of them and each one failed within 6 months or less. These things are expensive.- PowerA Fusion 2 Pro - Great controller honestly, but not wireless and the rear paddles fall off easily.What do all 3 of these models have in common? They are all worse AND possess less functionality than this less expensive controller. I have only owned it for about 2 weeks now but I am impressed, so much so that I just recently bought another for my travel laptop.Suggestions:- The rear rocker triggers (the ones of the back of the controller itself) could be a bit bigger and easier to actuate- USB dongle made a bit smaller- Bluetooth capability addedOtherwise so far this thing is great. If easySMX ever needs a product tester, SERIOUSLY line me up lol!

It works good.I've noticed when the battery runs low it starts to have connection issues.I've also noticed it will happen when its not low in a different way..where it stops working..but my weapon will do a weird glitch thing and even though I'm shooting at someone..it isn't registering at all. I'll have to reconnect it..which is a pain..because their isnt a direct off button...you hold down home and have to unplug the USB sensor. Or it won't turn off.If you are serious about your games and treat your controllers good..maybe spring for a better one.If you break them or your kids are rough on them..this is fine.

the controler is sturdy and good for the price of what it cost. it allowed me to play spyro and tony hawk games on pc which are just aweful with keyboard and mouse i also tested it in other games like hl2 where i primarly use keyboard and mouse and can spin around ultra fast. i also sometimes use it in games like genshin impact and oddworld stranger's wrath. the controler still works but i have to knock off a star or two for the battery going kapoot and now only working when plugged in!

I bought this wanting to replace my previous wireless xbox controlled with a new one at a budget price. It turns out the old phrase "you get what you pay for" holds true here.Out of the box, the very first day using it I realized that even while sitting very close to my pc (less than 5 feet), there are input problems unless you keep the charging wire connected. I'm not even sure what would cause this behavior, but I've tested it over and over and over and it's true. When I disconnect the charging wire attempting the use the controller "wirelessly", within about 60 seconds the buttons you press on the controller start to encounter a random delay...sometimes registering your keypress (button) soon after...and sometimes it will ignore what you pressed altogether. Plug the charging cable back in and immediately that specific problem is fixed.I'm pretty low maintenance, so even with this meaning the controller wouldn't actually be useful as "wireless" to me and I'd have to keep it connected at all times...I figured I'd live with it.Now, I've owned the controlled less than 5 months and the light/s behind the color buttons (X, Y, A, B) don't light up anymore. I've tried researching how to fix it...I've read the booklet that came with it...I've tried every combination of button pressing I could think of. The light/s just don't work anymore.Of course I'm well outside the window to return this item as it's 5 months later, but I had to come at least share what my experience has been. I rarely review anything unless it's something that is VERY good or VERY bad. I can't recommend this product to anyone. It's been nothing but a headache.

This controller is easily the best controller I have ever used on my PC. I bought it on March 26th 2023, and as of April 28th 2024 it’s still working like as if it is brand new.It keeps dust out of the analog sticks so you don’t have to worry about characters walking when you aren’t touching it. I have dropped it, thrown it on the ground, all of that, and it still lights up, it still vibrates, it still works just fine. Before I bought this controller I was buying this off brand that was like $40.00 and those controller would last maybe a month. Not because I threw them on the ground, but because the analog sticks were made poorly so it because easier for them to be off centered.But with this controller, I have no problems. It’s easy to use, easy to assign the side buttons, one of the best accessory purchases I ever made. My only complaint is that you can’t just pair it with Bluetooth and so you either need a wired charging cable, or you need to not lose the USB stick for connection. Otherwise, it’s a great product and I highly recommend it for computer gamers because of the low cost but great quality.

I'm no Pro gamer. I'll get that out the way.Having said that, i bought this to use with my laptop to play metro exodus. In my opinion, using a keyboard and mouse for an RPG shooter / stealth game, with all the additional options for your character's equipment etc, you're on a hiding to nothing.Buying this controller having weighed it's attributes against many others, i can say with great confidence that i made the absolute correct choice. Not that i would be able to tell with any degree of minute accuracy, but there is no notable latency between the controller and it's USBA dongle. Connection following the in-box instructions was fairly straightforward, however, this was only half the battle.My game was downloaded via Steam and this is the platform where it is played. As such, you must go through the process of setting up your controller through Steam. There's plenty of online information on how to do this, but briefly, you open Steam, click on the top left "Steam" options menu. Click on "settings". Click on "controller" and take it from there. There's myriad options on how to customise the controller via this menu system. Fill your boots.There's nothing flimsy or cheap about the controller. No rattle. Good weight. Good texture/gnurling on the grip surfaces, good button travel and pressure sensation that will remind you of an official XBox controller if you've ever held one. However, this has some features that the official controller does not. A customisable button on each side at the back of the controller that resides beneath your middle finger. It has two sides you can depress, like a pivot. Effectively two buttons in one. Making for four customisable button presses.The ABXY buttons light up and there's a nice little light ring around the right thumb stick. There's also a rumble engine on each side of the controller that feels pretty tight as well. The bonus is, both rumble and lighting can also be customised by buttons on the controller. Dim the lights and reduce the rumble to your preference.Presently, i cannot fault it. I cannot speak to battery life, as i haven't used it for a prolonged period, however, the comforting thing here is that if it gives up, no stress. It is usbc rechargeable so you can plug it into your machine or usb power source to keep it going while you play.There are so many controllers out there... So many. I researched them as best i could and came away thinking that on balance this one was the best for pc gaming. I believe i was right. Only time will tell. I'm confident it will.

I loved it, it works as it should be and as is described, the product materials are nice, connection was easy, and I liked the idea that it charges via a usb C, and I also loved the RGB light on the keys, i use it with my gaming PC by the way.
