Optimally Organic Face Mask, Lightweight Cotton Face Covering with String Tie Unisex

ProThis mask is-sized for an adult to wear with ease;-the material was cut in proper proportion, evenly & symmetric; and-it arrived as a finished product made with care--->NO hanging threads--->NO rough edges--->ALL seams were neat and lay flat so there's no perception of edge bulk.DetailsThis mask has good overall coverage of an adult face. It covers from nose to under the chin - even with my husband's now quite ample beard.See picture. Note the bottom cord could be drawn tighter for his beard, but a relaxed fit is shown.The mask material itself has substance, without making it hot or difficult to breathe. It is made of a nice cotton and feels soft to touch and on face, with a little bit of stretch/give.》》This is definitely NOT that starchy/stiff material that is common in medical scrubs and such.My husband found that masks secured with elastic loops around the back of the ear pulled "uncomfortably tight."The elastic of one style mask pulled so tight it gave him a headache and caused sores behind his ears. The need to wear safety glasses in the field further compounded his discomfort that day.Having decided that the cord tie style of mask was the better option, the next challenge was to find an adult mask that had cords that were long enough for him to easily tie behind his head. This mask checked that box without issue.This mask is something we would recommend.For those that have sensory issues, this may be a mask to try. It is soft, and the tie cords don't irritate.An additional pro and potential con:The mask is a dark color so it doesn't look dingy as the day goes on with wear, perspiration, and jobsite dust. Hopefully the dark color doesn't absorb heat and make it hot.ConAdmittedly a personal preference: the lack of nose bridge and/or bridge pocket to insert a nose bridge piece.This is not to say that the cords alone don't keep the mask in place. It is a precautionary measure to avoid (potential) need for adjustments from repeated up/down head movements as he observes and take notes.I ordered metal nose bridge pieces with peel and stick adhesive. This should be an easy add. (They are inexpensive and mostly come in packages in increments of 100.) The idea is that it works for the intended purpose, and then it's removed/tossed prior to washing. Hopefully the self-adhesive will stick/stay in place!I would expect that the addition of the nose bridge would reduce "fogging" of safety glasses/sunglasses, not that it's been experienced to date.I'll update review if needed on nose bridge add-on, heat absorption, or whatever after he's had more time wearing it.

Don’t buy.After repeated uses the mask came apart.

This mask is made with very low thread count material. You can see the light clearly shine through the material. I have T-shirts with denser threads than this mask. If you are looking for an effective mask, you're better off buying something else. The construction feels weak and I would not trust putting this thing in a washing machine or dryer.Additionally, the packaging it comes in claims it has an inner layer of cotton and an outer layer of polyester. This is obviously not true as the mask achieves 2 layers by simply folding the same material back on itself.

Not worth the money. It is a very small mask.

Ok mask at best. Not worth the money. Maybe could get away with 2 for $20. But it’s thin. And don’t wash it hot or dry hot, it shrinks bad. Wasted my money basically since mine shrank when I was too lazy to hand wash it but it was nice while I had it so 3 stars

Disappointed that there is not wire along the top seam to form and prevent fog from forming on glasses. Especially for the price. Generally adequate is the beast way to describe. if you wear glasses buy something else.
