Love this knife. Buy it you'll be happy.
I've been using this knife for several months now ever since my 5" Cuisinart Santoku knife fell on the floor and the blade snapped in half. The 7" blade is a nice size. Its very sharp and has stayed sharp so far. Well balanced and not too heavy and the handle fits nicely in my hand and looks great. I would buy this again.

Great Santoku Knife
Very nice looking and very sharp. For the bucks it is a winner. The Pakkawood handle is nice looking too. I would estimate it is twice as sharp as the one I am retiring. The design of the Santoku knife blade is genius.

Pretty darn good.
With this price, this knife is pretty darn good. I was slicing celery (with all fibers). Some fell from the blade and landed under the open space, so when I was cutting the next one, the knife accidentally landed on the last ones who fall. I didn’t even want to cut it, but it was instantly sliced open. It’s really sharp knife. And the handle is very comfy to hold. Weight balance is right on. For $2x bucks, you can’t really beat it.

Balanced, sharp and elegant.
The knife is well balanced and extremely sharp. The handle is ergonomically shaped for the hand. It slices through almost any food material with ease. A great addition to any knife collection for cooking.

Cuts really well! Almost perfect.
This is the highest-caliber type of knife I use in the kitchen and it cuts everything, all of the time. If you aren't using something of this caliber, you might be doing it the hard way. I work in construction and a dull blade is famous for its fallout. You have to push harder so it does its cutting task more suddenly and with less control... because it happened more suddenly. More examples of the safety problems with dull blades exist. It's like a high-performance vehicle: it does what you tell it to; intentionally and also unintentionally. Meanwhile, low-performance vehicles have to be abused a little to get them to do their job as you might expect. Also get a sharpener. Mine sharpener is ironically dangerous due to its 'innovative' home-use design but works well if careful and thoughtful while using it. Only criticism: if you split a potato, for example, the potato sticks to the blade. I split potatoes almost every day. It's really annoying. It's hard to make distinct piles of what you just sliced because half of the time half of what you cut is stuck to the blade and now you have to do something with it rather than it just laying on the cutting board where you cut it. I find myself 'flicking' the blade to get it to release. (See 'construction safety' noted above. Don't 'flick' your blade; you probably have the wrong blade if you have to 'flick' it to get it to work properly.)

Perfect ! Wasn't sure if I would get used to round handle but after using it a couple times it has become my favorite knife. Worth every penny !

So sharp I cut my finger twice. Buy a blade protector (not for the blade, for your fingers ;)
